Two Newsmax articles Chris Wallace should have used during the Bill Clinton interview

If I were Chris Wallace I would of brought up these points.

Sen. Torricelli Played Key Role in Closing Down CIA Ops

Wes Vernon, NewsMax.com Tuesday, Sept. 18, 2001

WASHINGTON - Sen. Robert Torricelli, D-N.J., led congressional efforts in the mid-1990s that handcuffed the CIA's abilities to recruit spies - a key policy that helped allow the attacks of Sept. 11 to take place with no intelligence warnings.

Carl Limbacher Monday, Sept. 17, 2001

http://www.newsmax.com/archives/articles/2001/9/16/151505.shtml

Cheney announced the policy switch in response to a question from NBC's "Meet the Press" host, Tim Russert.

RUSSERT: "There have been restrictions placed on United States' intelligence gathering – a reluctance to use unsavory characters, those who violate human rights – to assist in intelligence gathering. Will we lift some of those restrictions?"

CHENEY: "Well, I think so. I think one of the by-products, if you will, of this tragic set of circumstances is that we'll see a very thorough sort of reassessment of how we operate and the kinds of people we deal with.

"If you're going to deal only with sort of officially approved, certified good guys, you're not going to find out what the bad guys are doing. You need to be able to penetrate these organizations. You need to have on the payroll some very unsavory characters if, in fact, you're going to be able to learn all that needs to be learned in order to forestall these kinds of activities."

The vice president added that the Bush administration would "make certain that we have not tied the hands, if you will, of our intelligence communities."

With these two newsmax articles I would of pointed out to Clinton that we had no intelligence or anything for the Bush administration to view the first 8 months.

"If so Clinton probably would of needed CPR afterwords"

I believe that Wallace was just being a responsible journalist. He was not simply out to point out the weaknesses in Clinton's terror-fighting. By protesting too much, Clinton himself did this.

It's "should have" not "should of".

"should have used"

With the new report out on US intelligence failures its important to recognize why we had this problem.

It would of been like getting two birds with one stone.

Clinton confirmed his legacy in Sunday's appearance in any language.

If you liked that, you should visit Baltimore. Some of the grammar and word choices around the area are like nails on a chalkboard. Listen closely to any MD representative when they're on national programs.

I have yet to understand how Teddy Boy Kennedy gets an "er" at the end of Alabama.

OK back to the topic please. Only anal retentive liberals use these kind of arguments to discredit the material.

Wallace should have told the disgraced, impeached, lying scumbag Clinton to get his crooked-ass finger out of his face and off of his body/notebook, and...

he should have said, "Why should any American believe the things you are saying right now? After all, the last time you wagged that crooked finger in our faces, you were lying your ass off.".

To me, he seemed to be offering Slick a chance to respond to the recent criticism of him. Chris was trying to be helpful, not hurtful, and to do it in an objective manner. Of course, Slick would have had to lie because the truth hurts him.

Bill Clinton took the opportunity to vocalize his disdain for Fox News.

Fox News doesn't fit the vision of Bill Clinton's legacy compared to his favorite dinosaur liberal media.

Winston Churchill said "History will be kind to me for I intend to write it."

Bill Clinton seems to be saying history will be kind to me for I intend to distort it.
