If I had been Wallace, I would have taken old BJ up on his challenge. I would have had my staff comb the archives and find the interviews where he, and other Fox reporters DID ask the tough questions of the "right wingers."

I would also have drudged up a few examples of the "hit pieces" jump-started by Clintonistas against any of their "detracters."

I would have grinned for the camera, and said something like, "We understand the question upset the former President, but before attacking a news organization because you don't like the question you better have your facts straight. Instead af waving my finger and getting red in the face, we figured it might more professional and effective to refute his questions with facts, not feeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeelings."

heh, heh ,heh.....

I said the same thing about the NYT Iraq report leak...

Check it out... the vultures jumped right on it:
http://www.memeorandum.com/

No way i'll fall for it. We know for a fact Saddam was connected to AlQ and no amount of brainwashing from the media can change the facts. Leaks like this (from those who can't say terrorist or write one good piece from Iraq), is a huge part of killing the morale of our military and inside the country; As well as their trumpeting the filibusters and blockages of dems against the Patriot Act, the borders, interrogation and anything else to fight this war.

I can never take the word of the NYT... in fact I think the opposite... they start with bad intentions and haven't learned their lesson yet.

Do these people think that Saddam would not be funding terrorists as in the past? They continue to ignore all the documented evidence (huge piles of it), because the average Joe or Jane is too lazy or doesn't make time to use their brains and check for themselves. The resolutions, plane shots, gassing of Kurds and funding of terror was enough even if we had nothing. Look for the correction in their snips of the report on G23, in a bottom corner of one paragraph, on Thursday.

I guess the party line will go back to 'instead of going to the 'Stan and taking care of that, we have two failed wars'... expect columns from the dems on how they can fight the war better now... Hillary and Kerry first of course.

snugs, Clinton has lied so much and so often that he actually believes the lies now. He really is delusional and lives in a fantasy of his own greatness. Everytime it's proven to be a lie he comes unglued and strikes out.

Don't you find it interesting that Pakistan knows so much about the health of OBL?

As I always say, "Never trust Pakistan".

Noticing the truce with Omar (Taliban) and Pakistan... Armitage may have been right (did I just type that).

I don't think Clinton hired any assassins.

You posted that regarding hiring assassins to kill binLaden. No, I'm sure he didn't - but he definitely could have done so to get rid of his domestic "enemies." There's a long list.

AliVeritas gave me some great links--- the one thing that stood out to me in Clinton's outburst (that I haven't heard anyone else mention yet..)

Clinton's Crash and Burn

Heads up - be sure to watch Fox News Sunday tomorrow. This week's program will feature a Chris Wallace interview with BJ Clinton in which Clinton gets quite hot under the collar, and continues to tell lies to the American people while blaming everyone else for his own failures as Commander and Chief. This is a MUST see. Check your local listings for the scheduled program.

The interview is obviously pre-recorder, so I cannot testify as to how mush will actually be aired. What I can tell you is that my sources tell me that in the actual interview Clinton states, "All of President Bush’s neocons claimed that I was too obsessed with finding Bin Laden...." WHAT!? BJ is now saying that "Bush's neocons" accused him of being obsessed with Osama? It was CLINTON who claimed he had a virtual obsession with Osama! The man (and I use that term loosely) is delusional at best.

Watch the mental hoops one has to jump through to believe this man. He claims that the only reliable source for the facts on government failures for 9/11 is the "official" 9/11 Commission Report. We all know that this report was doomed to be a failure of accuracy and truth the moment the Dems picked their team of participants. Not to mention Sandy's "doc's in his socks" illegal ceasing of classified documents and destroying them in order to protect those truly responsible for not protecting America from the terrorist who declared war against us in 1998.

We will be exploring a lot of examples of Clinton's failures in the near future, but just to give yuo a taste of what is to come:

A tape of Osama specifically threatening to attack American ships aired on Qatar TV on September 12, of 2000. The USS Cole attack took place on October 12 of 2,000. Here are just 2 examples of the Clintonista excuses about the attack:

Oct 12 2000 - Transcript of Albright remarks Q: Madame Secretary, I was reading the description of Yemen in our latest terrorist report, and I'm wondering why this country was ever taken off the terrorist list when there are groups like the Islamic Jihad; Hamas has an office there; Palestinian Islamic Jihad -- all of these apparently still have a presence there. Osama bin Laden has a presence there. Why was this country removed or not put back on the list of terrorist-sponsoring states when a country like North Korea, which has no terrorists, as far as I know, is still on the list?
Sec. Albright: Well, as you know, we're very careful in determining how that list is put together. And there are a variety of considerations in it, and we obviously felt that there was a reason to.

WHAT!!!!!!!!!? Her answer is…(translation from PC speak to EC speak) ”because we felt like it.”

But as we learn more……

Oct 12 2000 - William Cohen's comments Several reporters questioned the decision to fuel the ship in Yemen, but [Admiral Vern] Clark said that refueling of U.S. ships in Aden began last year and that there had been three refueling operations since last May. He noted that the United States has been working for some time to improve its relations with Yemen.

It sounds like the “reason” they “felt like it” was because they did the old UN, pacifist, carrot and stick thing that works so well with the terror thugs of the world. They wanted “better relations” with Yemen. But instead of making Yemen actually “earn” better relations, or “earn” being crossed off the list by actually NOT SPONSORING TERRORISTS, The Clinonistas let Yemen off the hook in hopes they would then suddenly “like us” and get tough on terror?

What a bunch of buffoons! Utter Buffoons! Can you believe this group of whimpering poll worshippers were actually in charge of defending America and American citizens?

There is so much more to this folks, some of it was covered in the ABC movie, "The Path to 9/11," but if you want to know ALL the facts, don't rely on the white-wash Congressional version. I highly recommend Losing bin Laden: How Bill Clinton's Failures Unleashed Global Terror by Richard Miniter.

Most of my best sources were senior Clinton officials, including both of his national-security advisers, his first CIA director, Clinton's counterterrorism czar Richard Clarke, Madeline Albright, and others. Plus, I interviewed scores of career federal officials. None of them are card-carrying members of the vast right-wing conspiracy. ......

[snip]

If anyone has any doubts about the credibility of this book, they should read the acknowledgements, which list many of my sources. Or peruse the more than 15,000 words of footnotes, that allow the reader to see exactly where information is coming from. Or examine the intelligence documents reproduced in Appendix B. Or pick a page at random and read it. Any fair-minded reader will see a carefully constructed and balanced account that attempts to lay out the history of Clinton and bin Laden.
