It's frustrating anita, but it never ceases to amaze me how the media will create a story, whether true or not, and then try to sell it to the public.
The same thing happened with Enron. First the Democrats claimed Bush & Co were going to bail them out, and when it was revealed that the Bush Justice Department wasn't going to do that the Democrats started crying the blues over the loss of a great American company.
It makes no difference what President Bush does, the spin from the left will be opposed to it.
I suspect Berger stole stuff related to the Clinton administration's response after the USS Cole. Interesting that Clinton wants us to got to Clarke as the source of all knowledge about terrorism and our efforts to combat it rather than to Tenet or Freeh. Clinton almost never met wit Woolsey when he was CIA Director for two years.
