What stopps them from showing up with their birth certificate?

Birth certificates are not a good ID as every little town in the US uses their own form ,, how is someone in St. Louis going to know if a birth cert from Franklin TN is real or not... there must be 10,000+ different certs in use.

Those whose name has changed, such as some married women, also must provide documents showing those changes.

They have to do this for lots of things, social security, etc. Why not voting.

The cost of a non-drivers Identification license in Missouri is $11.00.

It is good for six years if issued to someone under 70 years of age.
If issued to someone over age 70, it never expires.
(So, when someone gets a new one or renews an expired on and they are
70 or over...that's the last $11.00 they'll ever spend on it.)

Bullsh*t.

Elections don't occur daily. They have plenty of time to save up the large sum of $20.

Vote fraud is safe in Missouri!

It's the only thing that St. Louis and Kansas City do that is tops in the country...

Talent (and other Republicans in MO) will just have to work harder.
Pure and simple.

Why not just a "voter ID card?"

Has a picture, name, SSN, address, and all that.

Make it "free" to anyone without a driver's license.

The Constitution leaves voting procedures to the states. Not only would your recommendation be unconstitutional, I think it is bad public policy to grant the federal government more power at the expense of the states.

I'm OK with the states setting voting procedures ,, I'm also OK if the Federal Gov't refuses to accept results from any election if the state doesn't meet fed requirements for quality control... (fraud control) ,, state elections would not be affected if they do not want to comply..

"I couldn't find any background information on this judge, but here's a picture of him taken during these hearings:"

Were you the one who airbrushed out the micky-mouse ears?

I'll tell you what.

I've met some DIRT POOR people...but never met one who had literally NO ID at all.

It's an excuse for this Dem judge to continue to allow voter fraud. Plain and simple.

The law required voters to show a federal or Missouri-issued photo ID at
the polls, which Cole County Circuit Judge Richard Callahan said was
an unconstitutional burden on voters because the paperwork required
to get those IDs is not free
.

Time to invalidate the Missouri Drivers Licenses.
You have to show proof of proper residence in the country (birth certificate,
immigration status papers, etc).

what a bunch of bull __.

The Democrats in the state have used fraud quite a bit in St. Louis and Kansas City. Especially St. Louis. This is very important because of the Senate election, which will be close.

If that's a burden, then isn't it a burden to go to the polls to vote in the first place?
