What is the logic of rejecting a treatment that prevent CANCER?
When and if a young woman is vaccinated should be up to her and/or her parents.
Personally, this vaccination makes me nervous. It seems like it has been rushed to market.
Puritannical hogwash. If the situation was reversed, and men got cancer from HPV, the vaccine would have been mandatory the day it was developed.
Its a sex cancer caused by casual sex.
There is the unusual occurence of a promiscuous** man giving it to a non-promiscuous woman, assuming that a non-promiscuous woman ends up marrried to a promiscuous man.
Which means a 6th grader is not going to get it unless she is promiscuous or raped.

To me the logic for rejecting the shot is that they want you to immunize the child when she is 11 years old. Basically stating to the child "that you are going to have sex soon and we don't want you to get genital warts". In my opinion its like taking a child to get on birth control pills.

What?? What do you mean?? This is not preventing cancer!! This is giving the go ahead for every girl in America to sleep with multiple boys daily until the age of 45!!! Don't you get it! By having a shot that can prevent cancer (which my mother died from BTW, cervical led to uterine, uterine led to ovarian, ovarian led to death and she had this virus and was NOT a SLUT) you will now let every boy and girl know that AIDS, Herpes, Syphlis and the rest no longer exists to no need for condoms. Just have sex willy nilly. /sarcasm.
The way freepers act about this shot makes me sick. My daughters will have the shot. I almost cried when I found out they had a vaccine for this virus. My mother was virgin when she married, my father had an affair. My mother died. But to hear freepers tell it, the ones that are stuck in 1875 anyway, my mother was a slut who deserved cancer.
Because FR's Old Testament Retributionists think a girl who actually has sex without a permission slip is a "slut" and a "whore" and deserves to die, anyway.
Unless there is a legitimate question about the safety of the vaccine, this should be a no-brainer.
I don't know but some here are really working hard to think their girls are holier than thou...
My daughter will get the vaccine. Why? Because she deserves to be protected from HPV. Letting her run the risk of infection either due to a moment of indiscretion on her part or due to rape is unacceptable.
