Stingrays Found Mutilated After Irwin's Fatal Sting:
http://www.kcra.com/news/9825184/detail.html
Just MSM hysteria-mongering.
I'm GMT-6 in Central US Daylight.
They're GMT+10 in Brisbane.
When it's 9 AM there, it's 11PM GMT, so it's 5PM my time.
Correct, mom4kittys, prolly late afternoon / early evening on our (USA) Tuesday.
Oh, that's exactly what I was trying to figure. Not sure about Daylight, there or here.
My understanding is he has been buried at Australia Zoo.
No, the day before - Monday evening/arvo
Thank you! Now I am going to email Animal Planet to see if they are airing it.I can't imagine that they wouldn't.
I'm sorry - it's Wednesday there at 9AM - I thought it was Tuesday - apologies.
Yes, it would be *our* Tuesday arvo approx. 5 PM Central.
Sorry.
I saw a 2004 show of Steve last night talking about when his mother died. He was very emotional--saying if he could have cut off his right arm he would have done it instead of losing his mom. I can't stand it when someone cries--it always gets me going too. He was a very passionate, emotional (in a good sense) guy.
That little girl is very intelligent. She amazed me when she would be on TV with her dad. Very mature for her tender age. She will do her daddy proud, and break my heart!
See my correction! I misread it. I assume it's next week, not tomorrow, right?

Here's the thread with the Bindi (and some Baby Bob) pictures.

I believe so, or it would have happened this evening. I will let you know if Animal Planet responds to my email. They are probably very busy right now, so I hope they at least post this info on their website.
I saw a story that said he was buried on "family property adjacent to the Zoo." I'm sure they will build a large memorial stone something eventually to mark it.
Or, maybe not. Just leave it as "on the property." That might be better.
Prayers for Terri and their kids. Thanks to her and Australia for sharing him with us.
Yeah, thanks. They're 15 hours ahead of us.
I have a thread I wanted to post when the coverage starts dwindling - it's just of all the threads here at FR, so we can have an ongoing one, if we want to.
I was waiting until after the memorial service.
I appreciate that. Please ping me or freepmail me when you do. This is going to hurt for a very long time and I want to respect his memory.
Just checked the Animal Planet site, nothing there yet re: televising the memorial service that I could see.
