9/11 Commission Members:

9/11, Five Years Later: On the fifth anniversary of the worst terror attacks in U.S. history, I speak exclusively with those commissioned to seek the truth about the 9/11 attacks. Four key members of the 9/11 Commission: Chairman and former Gov. Thomas Kean, R-N.J., Richard Ben-Veniste, Jamie Gorelick, and John Lehman weigh in on the lessons learned, and whether America is prepared for another catastrophe. And, with ABC's controversial dramatization, "The Path to 9/11," set to air Sunday and Monday, the commissioners react to the firestorm surrounding it.
On our roundtable, Newsweek's Fareed Zakaria, The Nation's Katrina vanden Heuvel, ABC News' Martha Raddatz, and George Will join me to debate the week's politics.
Then, Dr. Gene Steuerle, a 9/11 widower, shares his story of overcoming tragedy to form Our Voices Together, a nonprofit network dedicated to combating terror by exporting hope.

Just watched it, John Lehman nailed the whining Dims in the last few minutes of the segment.
I was disappointed that Keene didn't defend the fact that whether Albright (in the movie)was the one to give the orders to call off the strikes on Bin Laden or not, the order was given, nonetheless by "someone, although I don't know who it was" (Albright's words).

Jamie Gorelick is beyond shame. Her job on the commission was to cover up Clinton's role in the attack; she did her job.

I agree completely...she should have been kicked off the commission when her memo was revealed; in fact, she should have revealed it prior to her being selected for the committee. As a result, the 911 commission report will always be in doubt as to its validity, at least to those who really wanted a full and fair hearing on the issue (and I was not one of them).

3000 Americans are dead because of Jamie Gorelick. What did ABC do that matches that?

Thanx for the heads-up. Our local ABC affiliate doesn't run "This Week" until 11:30 tonight...90 minutes after the first half of "Path to 9/11" airs.

If you aren't sure who gave the order to 'stand-down'(on at least 10 occasions)... just pencil in Rapist42. As the Dhim's love to repeat over and over... the buck stops there.

Ben-Veniste was more restrained than usual. Gorelick has no shame. If there were any justice, she should right now be on her knees with a leash around her neck in the bowels of women's prison.
To: montag813
If Gorelick had a soul, she would ask for God's forgiveness for allowing 3,000 people to be murdered by Al Qaeda.

agreed wtih and all regarding gorelick....in the US wtih the clinton pc world the country no longer recognizes treason....if it did...gorelick should be lined up along a wall and shot....no matter how it is re-written...no matter how the msm blames Bush...this woman was the root cause of 9/11...and to add the most horrific insult to injury...she was allowed to be a member of the 9/11 commission with the 2 sole purposes of covering her own big fat ass and covering for clinton and hsi incompetent minions!

If Ben-Vineste was more restrained than usual, then I would expect that the clintonistas won on edits regarding the path to 911. I would bet the Monica part is gone; that is what billy jeff really wanted out; the comments by the maid and the burgler were just cover for that, imho.

Not one question to Goerlick about "the wall" and her role in the Clinton adminstration. What are the odds of Oliver North appearing on the show discussing Ronald Reagen and never being asked about Iran/Contra?
The only positive exchange in the whole show was George Will bitch slapping Katrina VandaWhocares over the lefts embrace of Michael Moore's "documentary"

Msnimje,
What did ABC do that matches Gorelick's betrayal of the public trust? Is that you question?
Well, for starters ABC News' "journalists" continue to deny her role as a terrorist enabler. Instead, they give her credence as an expert on handling world terror by inviting her on their shows. ABC News did not and still do not question why she was allowed to be a member of the national commission examining 9/11 when part of that examination was whether or not her own policy decisions allowed it to happen.
Further, the Clintonistas and the other koolaid drinkers in the Democratic Party would not be in a position to aid and abet world terror if ABC were doing its job. If ABC was willing to ferret out the truth without fear or favor, the American people would be in a better position to make an informed choice. Instead, ABC, like the rest of their alphabet brethren, has chosen to side with the Democrats because they are more interested in wounding the Bush Administration and promoting their cocktail party friends than in the safety of their fellow countrymen.
And that, sir, is why ABC News shares equal shame with Ms. Gorelick. But if you will allow me, I will agree with you on one point.
Not only should this woman be in the dock instead on This Week, she should be joined on the stand by her boss, William Jefferson Clinton. It was he who most bares the blame and dishonor for 9/11 and it is to ABC News' eternal shame that they continue to protect and defend this narcissistic adjudicated perjurer and serial sexual harasser.
