Ned's response was greeted with extreme disbelief from the Veterans who then responded with a loud chorus of BOOS towards Ned Lamont.
The Veterans group was polite until shunned in an obvious manner and informed Lamont of their disapproval!!
When present Congressman Rob Simmons came by, he not only said hello, but stayed and chatted with his fellow veterans at the booth and treated all with respect!

At our big local Festival I just went to, the local Democrats had their booth, with all of their little fliers and keychains and pamphlets and signs....
And absolutely NOWHERE on ANY of them was the word Democrat....
They wanted no affilatiion to the National Party with their candidates

I served my country. I have no need to ever meet Ned "Lament" about anything. I tend to avoid cowards at every turn.
We truly are faced with the future of the USA.
If ignorance wins, the USA will be a Third World Country in 50 years!
As far as the next election cycle goes, there will be only one point of decision...........
if you are nostalgic for things blowing up in NYC and the USA - vote Demon-rat.
If you want to keep the war in the enemies camp and win - vote Republican.

Rob Simmons was also at the Ledyard Fair today. I love watching him campaign. Rather than "bother" people watching the fair events, Rob prefers to spend the time talking to volunteers in the booths. He'll spend as much time as he can talking to even one person and always is a good sport about having his photo taken with people. He seems to really enjoy campaigning.
Maybe so, but don't you dare question his patriotism.
Remember Nerd Lament comes from a staunch Socialist/Communist Family (there's a thread on FR from about 3 weeks ago with URL Proof) and the apple doesn't fall far from the tree.
The million dollar question is : Will Lieberman exploit this for all that it is worth or act like a Republican and bend over?
