Cindy Sheehan: Confessions of a Dangerous Mom
The right-wingers who think nothing but the worst of Cindy Sheehan probably won't change their minds after reading Peace Mom. In the book, which hits bookstores September 19, the antiwar icon admits she has fantasized about going back in time and killing the infant George W. Bush, thereby preventing the Iraq War. In fact, she reveals, her son's death in that war almost drove her to take her own life: "Every night I had to restrain myself from taking my entire bottle of sleeping pills instead of just one." Other targets of her vitriol:
John McCain, whom Sheehan calls a liar for denying that he once responded to her question about why her son had to die by saying, "Well, Cindy, I am afraid it's going to be for nothing, like my buddies in Vietnam." McCain has denied that on another occasion he told her, "You keep doing what you are doing. America needs to hear your voice."
"Baby blue-eyed" Anderson Cooper, whom Sheehan derides for doing a "hatchet job on me and investigating me with a vengeance. He dredged up everything I ever did or said." She says her sister had to be restrained from beating up Cooper at the end of their interview.
John Kerry, whom Sheehan regrets voting for in 2004, saying that she was "unimpressed."
Hillary Clinton, whom she considers "a conservative in liberal clothing... We don't need another powermonger in the White House."
Stephen Hadley, Bush's national security adviser, who smiled when she once asked him, "Do you guys stop and think sometimes, 'Wow, I really work for an idiot'?"
I met her once if you can believe it. I drove a friend of hers to the Village last year and while emptying out her stuff from the trunk, she walked up to me. You ever see someone on horse tranquilizers? That`s Cindy Sheehan. She has no idea where the hell she is. My theory is the Dim-o-rats got her hooked on drugs to do their bidding. Anyone thinks I`m exaggerating, consider that when she met Bush, she was nothing like that. Now she is this drooling half catatonic freak beast.
Dangerous only to Democrat Electoral hopes. Democrats is THIS person who you really want as the face of passes for your National Security agenda?
This woman needs to be locked in a padded cell she is dangerous and could make an attempt on the Presidents life and she admits she is a danger to herself.
"Dangerous???"
Don't make me laugh.
Only in the warped left-wing mind.
I am going to find a way to refrain from saying anything about this delusional, mentally ill person.
I wish I could get a copy of that book without paying her! It just sounds like its gonna be a h00t!
She gives autographs to college kids on the streets when she is in NYC or D.C....couldn't believe the stories I have heard from friends who witnessed it.
If Cindy's mom had aborted her, her son wouldn't have been killed and she wouldn't want to go back in time and kill Bush.
How's that for circular logic?
If she really wanted to prevent the Iraq war, she'd go back 1400 years for her fantasy killing spree.
I have suspected that she is truly psychotic with misplaced rage - rage at Casey for disobeying her and ending up dead, rage at America for not fitting her psycho-left image of utopia, rage at Republicans for not sharing her deranged beliefs, and most of all rage at President Bush for daring to fight the war on Islamo-fascism at all instead of immediately surrendering. Cindy is a puppet for her far-left handlers, but she probably is sincere in a half-baked mentally unhinged sort of manner......
Calling Dr. Freud! It's telling that "Peace Mom" fantasizes about killing a baby. Is Sheehan's hatred for Bush all just because she's furious that she couldn't control her own son?
So she would go back in time and kill Baby W to stop the war...not kill OBL or Saddam. She is a dim bulb.
