A Web site has been established for the Support the Troops and Their Mission Weekend events in D.C. on September 22-23.
Please forward the URL to everyone you know who supports our troops and their mission fighting the war on terrorists in Iraq, Afghanistan and elsewhere. Also, if you know people who have blogs, please ask them to host the button link to the site featured on the lower half of the front page.
The rally will be held on Saturday, September 23, 2006 from noon to 3 p.m. at the Sylvan Theater on the grounds of the Washington Monument.
Please make the sacrifice of time and effort to participate. Our troops have been taking it on the chin all year from the media and other liberals. Please let them know you support them by attending the rally.
Speakers will be announced sometime next week.

Just thought I would throw something out there. I have been sending stuff to soldiers in Iraq through www.treatsfortroops.com
You can pick branch of service, home state, etc..You can pick prepared boxes of goods that are shipped for you.
Anyone who has ever been in the service knows how great it is to get a package from home. If anyone has an extra $25 or so, its a great way to show these kids how much we care about them.
Maybe we could do a Freeperthon to send a bunch of stuff over.

Our troops have been taking it on the chin all year from the media and other liberals.You forgot to add that many liberal/leftist politicians have been dissing our troops at every opportunity, too.

here for Freepers who want to send care packages to the troops. It's been going on for a few years.
Thanks for the suggestion, though. It's always good to get the word out about helping the troops.
