It's that First Amendment thing that keeps getting the way of Clinton, Kerry and other liberals. Funny he saw nothing wrong about West Wing...................

For eight years, once a year, I listened to Clinton tell the nation that Mary and Joseph were a homeless couple looking for a place to stay.

Now Clinton accuses others of "rewriting history".

It's a great time to be alive!

I remember Clinton making the same objections to Farenheit 911, writing all the networks not to show that movie, to fix the mistakes ... NOT!

For the record, Mr. Clinton:

The final policy paper on national security that President Clinton submitted to Congress — 45,000 words long — makes no mention of al Qaeda and refers to Osama bin Laden by name just four times.

The scarce references to bin Laden and his terror network undercut claims by former White House terrorism analyst Richard A. Clarke that the Clinton administration considered al Qaeda an "urgent" threat, while President Bush's national security adviser, Condoleezza Rice, "ignored" it.

The Clinton document, titled "A National Security Strategy for a Global Age," is dated December 2000 and is the final official assessment of national security policy and strategy by the Clinton team. The document is publicly available, though no U.S. media outlets have examined it in the context of Mr. Clarke's testimony and new book.

Source.

"In a letter to ABC boss Bob Iger, Clinton refuted several of the miniseries’ assertions, including that he was too preoccupied with the Monica Lewinsky sex scandal to care about Osama bin Laden."

This is REALLY funny. Didn't think ABC had the spine to stand up to anything...

A caller on the Gallagher show made a darn good point this morning. Remember when alot of people were upset about Clinton's "extracurricular activities" and the left screamed back If it doesn't interfere with his job, what's the problem?

Well, apparently it did take his eye off the terrorism our enemies had in the works for us.

Letters signed by lawyers are all well and good but will they actually file suit? I would think Bill Clinton is a little gun-shy about the discovery process as is, let alone that he can't claim privilege now. Call their bluff, ABC. Show some backbone.

Now they will bring in the "experts" that swear that Clinton has the unusual ability to "compartmentalize" things in such a way that he was never really distracted from his duties as president.

this drama is factually and incontrovertibly inaccurate

An educated person actually wrote this morsel of word salad?

Incontrovertibly inaccurate? I'm still trying to figure out if that's a double-negative or isn't not.

Any minute now Tim Robbins will come out in support of ABC's freedom of speech and how he feels a "chill wind" blowing from the Clinton camp.

The movie then cuts to a close-up of Clinton maintaining that he did "not have sex with that woman” — Monica Lewinsky — insinuating that the Lewinsky scandal was distracting him from the bin Laden threat.

If it makes BJ feel any better, I for one don't think that Lewinsky distracted him from the terror threat at all, because I don't see where he was ever interested in doing anything about terrorism in the first place (as evidenced by the fact that he did nothing about the Cole bombing which happened long after Lewinsky).

I think the only thing that the Lewinsky matter possibly "distracted" BJ from was finding more skanks to have sex with.

I smell a rat here with ABC's "Path to 9/11" mini-series.

What if ABC has have a second version already filmed and edited which is much more favorable to the Clinton Administration.

ABC puts out this "bait" version and allows various Republicans (and Democrats) to see just to create media hype, and THEN when Sunday comes (9/10) they put on the more favorable to-Clinton version at the last minute.
