Walk into any lawyers office and you will see their "Bible". It consists of dozens and dozens of thick volumes occupying a wall of bookshelves.

Their "bible" is also being constantly rewritten by the demi-Gods du jour in the Congress.

That's the problem they'll have with this site and stance.

Being a Democrat goes against every single thing a Christian supports. So transparent. It's merely a "thing" that Dems can point to and say "hey, we're religous too!"

"Their biggest difference with conservative Christians is that they think globally rather than individually. Even in their theology. Social justice is a huge issue for them."

They don't think globally or they wouldn't align themselves with those who are bent on destroying this country.

Maybe the think they can "save" the ones within their party before it's too late.

Just like the beaten wife who keeps giving the abuser spouse chance after chance until the union is finally severed because the predator either kills her or almost kills her. DEM Christians need to understand that there was only one martyr.

I will fight them with every breath in my body before I will let them martyr my country.

When that RATS talk aobut moral values, they mean socialist values like universal healthcare, government education, gun control, and income redistribution.

No such thing as a faithful democrat. Scratch them and you'll find a communist.

A follower of Christ would not accept abortion, partial birth abortion, homosexual marriages or any other item of the liberal agenda.

Many of them don't, but are still more liberal in the "social justice" area. I consider them misguided, but I can't reject their position as brother and sister in Christ because I don't agree with them. I have also known Christians who DO believe in some of the things you list. They believed them in an early part of their walk with the Lord and later came to understand that their beliefs were against those taught in the Bible. Fortunately, God is more patient with His children than most of us are.

They do indeed think globally. You need to read what they're writing. But, I believe that they are misguided. I'm in a Christian book club where several members tend toward post-modern thought. So I'm often stuck reading their books. More often than not, I really disagree with their viewpoint, but this has forced me at least to become aware of how prevalent their thinking is.

If you quote scripture regarding homosexuality, you are called a narrow minded bigot on this web site.

If you quote scripture on personal responsibility you are called selfish, greedy and unconcerned about the poor on this web site.

They seem incapable of distinguishing murder from killing. Sorry, but there is a difference between murdering a newborn baby and killing someone who has raped and murdered your loved one.

They see the government as God who solves the problems of the world. All they need to do is pay taxes to it, their tithe.

There is not a whole lot of scripture quoting, just a lot of seething contempt for Republicans because we seemed to have convinced people who read and follow the bible to vote Republican, which in my bible is called hate.

There is condemnation and judgment for conservative ideals such as marriage being between a man and woman.

It is a website that seems bent on defining big government programs and legalized abortions as tenets of Christianity.

And hell is reserved for those who voted for President Bush.

In fact, calling the web site Faithful Democrats works just fine because it is all about their faith in the Democratic party.

"Fortunately, God is more patient with His children than most of us are."

Yes we need to patiently explain to them that they are wrong. Dead wrong.

I don't advocate a hate all liberals stance. It's counterproductive. You have to "grow" conservatives and you don't do that by knocking them over the head.

That said, our country is being attacked more and more everyday. Time is of the essence.

"So the main thing was to help reframe the values debate to be beyond wedge-issue politics, beyond fear and division and more focused on justice and the common good,"

What a load!

{It is as simple as this for anyone who is wants to be a Christ follower: Jesus Himself said, "I am the Way the Truth and the Life, no man comes to me except through the Father."}

Oops. That's bass-ackwards. It should read:

Jesus answered, "I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me...."
John: 14:6

Since the Left Democrat Evangelicals made their global warming pronouncements, they (or he or she as it may be) ARE the Evangelicals as far as MSMis concerned.

I registered on this site and posted the following ...

I am very thankful for a site that is focused solely on the Democrat Christian community. I would encourage all of us to speak out. For far too long, Democrats have been misunderstood as being godless. To be taken seriously as Christians we must state that chastity is a more important virtue than recycling, We must declare that government sponsorship of "art" which includes a crucifix in urine does more harm than a Natvitiy scene. Finally we must state that if a fetus is not human then abortion needs no justification, however if the fetus is human, no justification is possible for aborting it.

Thank you once again for establishing a site where the Democratic Christian community can be clearly heard and seen. Best regards, xxx
... it will be interesting to see how this post is handled over there.

"They do indeed think globally."

They must be looking at another planet then I am then. LOL.

Maybe you have hit on something here. WE conservatives need to share our "vision" of the world more. I get a lot of flak for talking about a vision of global peace but I think all my fellow conservatives want this as well, they just see the path as one that is an actual hands on job and not just an ideology.

Republican Christians. Doing the jobs that Dems won't do.

I agree with you. We need to talk about our world vision more openly. We do have one, and in contrast to what the libs accuse us of, it isn't imperialistic!

Seems to me, if there's a way to post such there or even to just send it to them email style . . . every so many seconds, they should receive a copy of the interview with Poe about George Soros having bought the DIMRAT party.

We should be able to demoralize them into the ground.

Also, I think every article we post that mentions DIMRATS as "progressive" . . . . we need to immediately follow the word "progressive" with

"[regressive--all the way back to Soddom and Gomorrah]"

Idiots.
