The enemy is not the DemocRATS, the enemy is liberalism as a concept. We are not going to be able to put up a fight against liberalism (in all of its forms) in the RAT party unless we clean our own house first.

You are absolutely correct. Now how do you plan to accomplish this except through the primary process? I do not see where deliberately electing RATS will accomplish this.

You and Steve Deace are just alike. When he started in on Rants the other day, I turned the channel.

I am convinced you two (and others like you) actually ENJOY looking for Republicans who do not measure up to your standards. You delight in it. You love it. You love to stand there beating your chests proclaiming that you are morally superior.

Why don't you put up or shut up and run for office? I say the same thing to Steve Deace. If you two are perfect, why are you denying the rest of us the opportunity of voting for you. We want to. We're begging you to run. Please save us. I'll send you money.

Who is Steve Deace?

Not at all. I have been very active in Republican politics for 15 years and there have been very few candidates that I have worked to help elect that did not turn out to be a huge disappointment. While I have developed a certain, perverse delight in my own iconoclasm, it is not much fun to be continuously let down by the people you believed in enough to help put into office.

Why don't you put up or shut up and run for office?

Because, unlike Keyes and guys like that, I fully recognize that I am unelectable. If a guy gets up in front of a crowd and starts talking about capitalism, people's eyes glaze over. I also recognize, unlike McCain, that my personality can sometimes be entirely to volatile to be elected.

I also refuse to subject myself, my friends or my family to the accompanying media rectal exam.
