Can we can expect that this sublaunched missile will be at least as accurate as those thousands of Iranian-supplied Hizbollocks unguided rockets (4000+) that got lobbed willy nilly at Israel for about a month?

With even a small (5 kiloton) nuke, how accurate does it have to be?
Anti-Sub Warfare may now come back in style. If these subs go into international waters or approach US territories, then we must now assume they are there to attempt a nuke launch.

a Seawolf probably already has the signatures of all of Iran's ocean going war vessels.

Don't belittle these fazools on their hardware... it's the evil in their heart and their fanatic will that is their strong-suit. When we wade into these bastids... it better be with the attitude of a cold-blooded killer.

having the signature is nice. I'm sure the USN has been tracking these for years (they were Soviet subs after all).
I'm more for having a firing solution myself....

Oh I agree with you 100 percent, and my belief is that if these Islamofascists want to be martyrs and go find out about the 72 virgins and the big buffet table, that we should be doing everything in our power to help them get there.
Our enemies have proclaimed their intentions to kill us, each and every one of us, can ANYONE tell me why we should be cutting them an inch of slack?
It's kill or be killed, and we better get with the f'in program pronto.

Good point but I'm not convinced that the Iranians are that far along in getting a nuke small enough to go on one those sub launched missiles, although I readily admit that I may be mistaken on that.

I heartily agree, and I think that we should already be shadowing ALL Iranian subs and that it wouldn't be a bad idea to send a message to Mr. Shout-Down-The-Well-At-The-12th-Imam by sinking his damn subs right NOW, to-DAY, and let them wonder what happened and why they're not getting any more radio traffic from their vaunted submariners.
They might suspect that the U.S. sunk their boats, but how in Hell are they going to prove it?
Let 'em try.
