Nationally syndicated radio host Neal Boortz stated on his show today that Randi Rhodes might find herself in court if she continues to tell lies on the air during her radio program.
Since the two appeared on the Larry King Live show a few weeks ago, Rhodes has been obsessed with Boortz after he made her look foolish on national television. At one point Rhodes claimed Boortz made a statement about Muslims that Boortz said he never made. Boortz then issued a challenge to Rhodes with a $5,000 bet. Rhodes accepted the challenge and then told Larry King and the viewers they could find proof of her claims by simply going to the "Media Matters" web site. Later Media Matters issued a statement that it had no documentation to back up the claims made by Ms. Rhodes. For those who are familiar with Rhodes, this was not a suprise. It's extremely rare for statements she makes to be accompanied by with any supporting evidence or proof. In her world, emotion trumps fact.
According to Boortz, he and his family have received death threats due to lies told by Rhodes on her failing radio show (Air America has to pay stations to carry her program). According to Boortz, Rhodes has been making statements she says Boortz has made regarding Muslims.
Transcripts from the Boortz show reveal that Rhodes claims were incorrect. Boortz is still waiting to recieve his check from her.

Her Guru George Soros says pretty much the same kind of thing, so she's just parrotting the official moonbat talking points. Soros recently asserted that VP Cheney and Iran's moonbat Al-jihad dude are just mirror images of each other. Yeah, we've got all these Christian extremists who correspond to the Islamo-fascist extremists, so "reasonable" leftists have to mediate between them, ha ha......
AA has now cancelled Springer, Garafolo has quit, and they are moving shows around to try to fill the gaps. Even Soros can't have deep enough pockets to keep this lead balloon afloat.
Franken, in 2005, got base salary of $1,725,000 paid in advance, plus fringe benefits and potential bonuses. His staff was also well paid. Rhodes also is alleged to be getting big money from AA.
Me too. I yell at the radio all the way home from the office. It's theraputic, primal.
I thought they were little sheetheads?
I wonder if she has stopped chain smoking yet? I'm sure the Feds could use the tax money but apparently she doesn't know that smoking is a sin in the religion of liberalism. (But then again, hypocrisy is one of the commandments so committing a sin would pretty much be expected as long as you condemn others for doing the same thing).
I've never heard her, since no self-respecting radio station down here will bother to put Err America on the air, but from what I've read, she makes Al Franken look like a brain surgeon in comparison.
I love Boortz! I've been listening to him for years. I do recall him referring to the terrorists as "rag heads" during the time period not long after 911. I don't recall the exact date, but I do remember him saying it.
Boortz is a good host, but somewhat of a gasbag. He ain't gonna sue because he knows darn good and well he wouldn't get anything, and it would cost more than he might ever get. I like him but he isn't likable to my wife who detests him and thinks that he is a "smug, over-bearing dipwad" and is full of himself. (her words, not mine!) If my wife doesn't like you, then something is really wrong with you below the surface, and believe me, she is never wrong in her assesments.
Maybe we can teach her to "fly" a plane, too?
Boortz always claims "This is just entertainment!" When anyone presses him. I guess one size shoe doesn't fit all.
Why are her ears all stretched out like that?
I thought they were camel jockeys.
Or something to do with sand was another one.
". . . after he made her look foolish . . . ."
This is incorrect. I saw that show and she made herself look foolish. What a dingbat.
That is a great website! Thanks!
THAT'S HIM. LOL.
How dare he call a camel jockey a raghead?
From nndb.com:
"Rhodes' show is now among Air America's top-rated broadcasts. She knows the news, and unlike the likes of Rush Limbaugh or Bill O'Reilly, her facts are consistently factual -- she cites her sources, and updates her website daily with detailed documentation to back up her rants."
(GAG)
That must have been "Seven Bags in Seven Days"
