The German plan to regain their losses of the first and second world wars in Central and South Eastern Europe is now almost complete. The Czechs have been split from the Slovaks (the German puppet State during the Second World War guilty of horrendous trading of Jews to the Nazis) the break up of Yugoslavia into the same Nazi friendly statelets which existed between 1941 and 1945, the abolition of 15 central banks and currencies and the effective destruction of the constitutions of 25 previously sovereign democratic nations - now controlled by Germany in the EU.
The uprising of the terrorist Albanian KLA in Kosovo was preceded by the establishment of a base for the German Secret Services in Tirana (Albania) - just as the illegal recognition of the State of Croatia by Germany in 1991 was preceded by ten years of subversive activities inside Yugoslavia by the those same secret services.
Perhaps the most hilarious example of the Anglo Saxon ignorance was President George W Bush talking in the context of Lebanon of "Islamic Fascists" when the USA and Germany blindly supported the avowedly Islamic Fascist Kosovo Liberation Army which welcomed NATO troops in Kosovo as "Fascists".

I guess Trieste, controlled by Austria-Hungary during WWI, and by Italy in WWII didn't provide sufficient access to the Mediterranean backwater in question.
Seriously, Doc - this is a particularly stupid article, even for a Balkan thread, and your added comments aren't helping matters at all.
So was this written by a Serb with a serious paranoia problem?
Worse, it was written by a Herbert Armstrong style kook.

"Those who believed that defeat in two world wars had diminished Germany's expansionist ambitions were certainly wrong. More than ever before, Germans need territories and they want to expand their influence and play an important role on the world political scenes.
The difference between the Nazi aggression in the past and Germany's present new thrust is in methods. Germans are now trying not to get their hands dirty and are using stooges to realize their plans for the establishment of the so-called protectorate of the Reich.
Yugoslavia's disintegration means the realiztion of Germany's old dram which it was not able to realize in two previous world wars: the creation of a political and economic axis in Central Europe. However, Kohl's ambitions do not stop at merely conquering parts of the Adriatic Sea. The strengthening of his relations with Hungary is aimed at gaining control over the Danube. However, this has not been achieved because of the resistance of the Serbs.
In addition, Bonn and its allies support Hungary's territorial claims to Vojvodina, part of Serbia with a substantial Hungarian minority. The German influence in Hungary has been on the increase and Hungary's territorial claims will probably not be limited to Yugoslavia alone.
The most frightening thing is the fact that the EC knows of Germany's intentions, but, for various reasons, has become its collaborator, particularly in the case of the conflict in former Yugoslavia.
The real causes of this war are also not unknown in the United States. However, rather than oppose German hegemony, the United States has punished a people, the Serbian people who have been presented as the Balkan monster.

On June 12, 1994, U.S. President William Clinton made a "symbolic" speech at the Brandenburg Gate in Berlin in which he made it clear to the world that a reunited Germany was the United States' key European partner in bringing about a new world order. Reliable intelligence sources claimed in 1990, that in 1988, Mr. Tudjman paid a secret visit to the Federal Republic of Germany (FRG) and met with Chancellor Kohl and other senior Government Ministers. It was said that the aim of the visit was to formulate a joint policy to break-up Yugoslavia, leading to the re-creation of a new independent State of Croatia with international borders in the form originally set up by the German Chancellor, Adolf Hitler, in 1941.
Germany Forced The European Community To recognize Croatia At Maastricht,
From a position where the EC members were 11 to one in favour of maintaining the unity of Yugoslavia, Germany succeeded at 04.00 hrs. in forcing approval for the recognition of Croatia and Slovenia as independent states.
The Maastrict process therefore influenced the Twelve's reaction to the Yugoslav crisis, while that crises influences the process of the European Union...it hsould be underlined that any undertaking that did not have the consent of all member states of the Community would have significantly weakened Europe just when it was negotiating the Maastricht Treaty and then proceeding to ratify it.
In effect, Yugoslav unity was sacrificed to maintain EC unity. By its actions, Germany had proved it had become the dominant power in the European Community and was prpared to use its economic strength to achieve strategic goals in the post cold war era.

Over 650,000 Serbs have been driven out of Croatia; 250,000 alone from their ancestral land in the Krajina. Fleeing refugees were strafed by Croatian jets without any outrage from Congress or from the media.
Today, Croatia has its "pure" Croatian state that Hitler could only promise.
