Talk about a waste of time and resources. Should have been shot in his spider hole.
Mother of all trials, is more like it. At least he got the "mother" of something.

I don't understand why this guy is being handled with kid gloves. Nobody knows how many murders he is directly responsible for, but it is certain that the number far eclipses those for which Osama bin Laden can be held accountable. This is surreal, almost as if Hitler were being tried by Judge Judy. Give him a fair trial and hang him already.

We're listening to it in Arabic. (Well, heck; it's happening just down the street from us...)
There's not as much shouting going on as in previous trial dates.

We should not judge him because his crime is so great.
Instead, we should send him to a place of judgment.

We can only hope that once this trial is concluded and sentence pronounced in perhaps a month or so, that the IG will then postpone all future trial requests by other Iraqi and Kuwati claims and just hang the bastard. Put an end to any hope the butcher will ever escape the hangman's noose.
Iraqi's must move on at this point. The IG must produce sufficient good will and smart governance to bring the goons of different diversions under on umbrella with the hope that they can actually all move ahead with better conditions as their oil industry can ramp up to a capacity much greater then anything under Saddam.
