The Arab world's No. 1 cable news network is finally coming to America.
The much-delayed launch of the English-language version of the controversial Al-Jazeera network is targeting its launch date on these shores in November.

Perhaps if the hatred and general ugliness is seen by more US citizens, they will realize what it is that we are facing. And fighting.

The good news is that AJ is supposed to be a subscription service on the International tier on Time Warner cable in NYC.
This mean the AJ subscriber information will be readily available for subpoena and the people in the residence can be put under surveillance.
I don't have a problem with there being a database of Al Jazeera subscribers in the U.S. being made available to law enforcement.
From what I've seen of Al Jazeera, the coverage is slanted towards middle eastern issues, but not noticeably different than other international news sources in terms of factual basis etc.
And we Americans need this propaganda because ??
Suggest a boycott of cablesystems that carry Al-Jazeera. They are nothing more than a propaganda arm of Al-Qaeda, responsible for many American deaths. BOYCOTT!!!
"Middle Eastern issues" such as rage and hate for Christians, glorifying terror attacks, beheadings of helpless hostages, nail bomb attacks on women and children, stoning girls to death for going to school, worshipping a pedophile as their prophet?
The muslim special interest groups and "charities" are blackmailing the major cable systems to carry the channel and the cable systems operators have decided to appease them out of fear. So when the beheadings begin on Channel 45 in November, you can thank the cowards at Time Warner and Comcast for giving Jihad another foothold in our country.

NOT Take a course in basic propaganda and you will see why this would be a very bad idea for us to allow in a time of war.
Talk about encouraging our own defeat. It borders on "aid and comfort to the enemy in time of war." That is a treasonous act, punishable by death.
Carry the channel or we will behead you and your family is most likely the sales pitch being made to the cable executives.
