Epstein craved big homes, elite friends and, investigators say, underage girls (Friend of Bubba)
Palm Beach Post ^ | 8-14-06 | Andrew Marra

WINGED GARGOYLES guarded the gate at Jeffrey Epstein's Palm Beach mansion. Inside, hidden cameras trolled two rooms, while the girls came and went.

For the police detectives who sifted through the garbage outside and kept records of visitors, it was the lair of a troubling target.

Epstein, one of the most mysterious of the country's mega-rich, was known as much for his secrecy as for his love of fine things: magnificent homes, private jets, beautiful women, friendships with the world's elite.

But at Palm Beach police headquarters, he was becoming known for something else: the regular arrival of teenage girls he hired to give him massages and, police say, perform sexual favors.

Epstein was different from most sexual abuse suspects; he was far more powerful. He counted among his friends former President Bill Clinton, Donald Trump and Prince Andrew, along with some of the most prominent legal, scientific and business minds in the country.

When detectives started asking questions and teenage girls started talking, a wave of legal resistance followed......

This story made my stomach turn as I read it. And what a surprise, he's friends with Bill Clinton.

I'm sure a few "massages" were performed on good ole Bubba when he visited this sick bastard.

Can't wait to see news of this indictment all over NBC/ABC/CBS/CNN/Hardball/Countdown with Krazy Keith, etc.....

The MSM will never cover this: it's makes a friend of the Clinton's out to be a pervert. That's never allowed. The MSM is sinking of its own dishonesty.

We have been constantly reminded by the press about the relationship between Bush and Ken Lay. Will the press report the relationship between Clinton and Epstein?

Palm Beach police and the state attorney's office have declined to discuss the case.

That's a first! Think of how close-mouthed they have been about Rush Limbaugh.

Would your daughter or your wife be safer with Ken Lay or Epstein.

Guess in your mind, their crimes are equivalent.

Ken Lay was not a 'friend' of George Bush, he was at best an acquaintence. When you run one of the largest and - supposedly - fastest growing companies in the state, you will occasionally meet the governor. That is not to be unexpected.

Incidentally, Ken Lay gave more money to Ann Richards, in the 1994 election for governor than he did to George Bush.

it makes a friend of the Clinton's out to be a pervert.

It makes a friend of a pervert to be a pervert. Put the co-president Clintons back in the WH. They will pardon this "person."

"Ken Lay was a friend of George Bush, what's your point??"

Actually, he was Clinton's friend and did considerable business with the Clinton administration, although that fact has been completely ignored by the MSM. It was Clinton cronies who tried to save him and the Bush administration who prosecuted him.

Why do you ask??

Yeah...and as another poster noted, the media made damn well sure the public knew Lay was a freind of Bush's. Will they do that with Epstein and Clinton? Doubtful,

Even more disengenuous was the way the media preseneted the Bush/Lay relationship, ignoring that Lay had much more influence with the CLinton administration, both as a member of one of Clinton's advisory committees and a frequent-flyer on commerce trips.
