Tempers Flare

AO Hell is using the latest success on the war on Islamic Fascism to spin it to say people are upset at airports.
The local Philadelphia and New York news stations say just the opposite - that people understand and are cooperating. Further, interviews by local radio at Boston Logan Airport, Newark, and Philadelphia Airports report people in security lines believe all delays are justified and that security won the day.
I don't doubt that this a terrible day to travel, but AO Hell just has to spin it in a bad way.

I expect this, but the delicious news is that AO Hell's own poll didn't get the results they wanted.

Any ideology that makes me wait three hours at an airport is a terrorist ideology.
That would be radical Islam.
That's where my seething anger is directed.
By comparison, I'm just displeased with the personnel at the airport
when they aren't professional.

It's just a good thing they are making Grandma dump out her water. Never know what those old white ladies will do.

Looks like a can of malt liquor in the bin on the left...
The TSA issued new restrictions prohibiting liquids in carry-on
luggage. The U.S. raised the threat alert to its highest ever on
flights from Britain to the U.S.

It's enough to make me believe in one of FDR's great ideas, take the terrorist population, round them up, and quarantine them from the rest of us, until WW IV is won.

people are upset at airports.
The question everyone should be asking: Are you more upset with air travel now than before Bush?
If john kerry were president there would be no waits at airports. /sarc off

I guess the days of carrying on some water in your backpack are over.
Thanks Islam!

My husband was packing at 5:15AM PDT when we heard about the new restrictions. He just repacked his carry-on without any liquids and went on down to LAX. He said the lines at the curb were horrendous but that there were soooo many TV vans, too! That part cracked him up! He had no problems making his flight.

Please, I'm starting to get a headache with reminders of that stunt!
Actually, I was miffed even before 9-11.
Even in the 1995-2001 period, odds were that I'd get a "Sir,
would you mind if we also do an extra check on you over here?".
I guess there must have been a "check clean-cut male in suit" trigger
in their security program that I often set off.
Of course, that wouldn't be profiling. Palefaces can't be victims
of profiling, by definition.

You have to wonder about the AOL business model. Go total liberal and run off at least half of your potential customers.
Another reason why they are in self-destruct mode.

AOL is owned by Time-Warner Corp., which I think is one of the most anti-American companies in the USA. They own Time, CNN, Warner records (most of the rap crap is theirs) and they have no morals as a corporation. I hope their stock stays in the tank, and they go broke. BTW, Ted Turner also supposedly gave the UN one billion dollars using his stock in Time Warner. Dumb Ted, and dumber Time Warner!
