When the Israelis capture Arabs in their wars, the captured Arabs are well fed, well housed, and eventually returned to their homes. When the Arabs (specifically the Syrians) have captured Israelis, they castrate them, cut off their male organs, decapitate the Israelis, and stuff their male organs in their mouths and leave the bodies on the field. Sometimes they also defecate on the bodies.

For anyone with even a sliver of sensitivity to see this happening to a people who have already suffered more than any other people in history, is torture. To see George W. Bush stand up for Israel while the left whines about totally meaningless multilateralism -- which means asking France to defend Israel, sort of like asking Martin Bormann to defend Israel -- is to see clear decency versus a waffling, age-old anti-Semitic sickness.

I believe the problem of islam is going to ultimately require divine intervention.
I really somewhat do too.
The problem for me is that I don't really see any divine intervention. There wasn't any in the 30's and 40's, why would there be any now? If there is a god, and if for whatever reason (and I know all the theological reasoning, free-will, non-intervention, etc) god let 6 million die at the hands of Hitler, then how are things different now? Why would god prevent the current 6 million population die at the hands of the islamonazis.
I'm not trying to provoke a religious argument here or to cast aspersions on anyone's religion (I think Christianity is good for the world and good for America), but I just don't see much hope of divine intervention. The Israeli's are going to stand or fall pretty much by their own efforts (along with the little bit of help they get from us).
Bingo. 'the line between civilization and barbarism runs right through the Israeli/Lebanon border...' And for all his flaws, Bush is standing up for mankind.

Go to the last book of the New Testament. Give it a read. It'll tell you what's going to happen. You can choose to believe it or not believe it.
I choose to believe it. God's track record has been pretty good, I'd say.
But doncha unnerstand, Arabs HAFTA do this to prisoners captured in combat. Have you no compassion at all for the poor Muslims that would otherwise be forced to come with cash to feed, guard and maintain facilities for prisoners of war or captured civilians, which of course are ALL spies?
And in the greater scheme of things, these prisoners were unlikely to convert to Islam anyway, so the quicker the consequences of not converting are made known to those who resist the benevolent spread of the worship of the Prophet of Peace, the sooner this will be over.
