I think if someone is unable to understand Donald Rumsfeld of all people, then that's a sure-fire clue they are incompetent to serve in the Senate.

And lest we forget, the Clintons were never held responsible for the F.B.I. files that mysteriously disappeared and reappeared...eventually...and only after the files were most likely photocopied. Those photocopied files which I named the "J.Edgar Hoover" insurance policy which I suspect has kept the Clintons and their minions out of prison all these years.

If you can, catch it on C-span, it's billed as the Senate Armed Services Hearing, and it'a about 2 hours, with this "performance" about in the middle. A transcript can't quite capture Rumsfeld's suppressed fury, incredicble patience, and absolute concisely brilliant and truthful answers. He puts a few others in their place too during this charade of a hearing.

Get this: Rumsfeld was at the hearing at the specific insistence of Hillary and a few other Dems. It was not essential, the Generals could have handled it, but they insisted. Then they launch their attacks. Just a pathetic, planned media ploy that gave Rummy a chance to put all in their place. Too bad most Americans will get the CNN version instead of watching for themselves.

Neither one was good for America, IMHO...... It's a well proven fact that they were no good for America, I'd encourage you to leave out the IMHO. Good intentions, but state the fact as fact.

I am afraid it will not. I go from radio station to station and the breaks are all the same AP reports. AP is the problem.

I'm pretty sure everyone on this forum knew she would do that.

She had to please the Kos crowd, the DU, and Moveon.

Democrats are such "pattern people"...no good for playing chess or poker, that's for sure.

Her voice is like nails on a chalk board and she wins a Grammy? Gimme a friggen break. That ranks up there with Arafat winning a Nobel Peace Prize. All these elitest phonies bestowing awards upon each other. I'm sure GWB will win a Grammy for the audio version of his book right...?

Of course after Hilary pulls this stunt the Republicans run and hide! I haven't heard one Republican come to Rumsfeld defense or at least call Hilary on the carpet for what this farce was all about. This just pisses me off! If the Republicans plan on keeping control of congress in the fall they had better get busy putting the dims back in their place!

targets are the only thing demorats make

I am not kidding, I am so polarized with the commies on the left, i wish they would burn my flag after they rap themselves up in it. I think they are traitors. Newspapers like the NY Times act like traitors and the publisher of the Times is a traitor. Yes, I am judging him and the rest, but their actions and words are the reason why I call them traitors. Here, you judge:

In "The Trust," authors Susan Tifft and Alex S. Jones tell of a confrontation over the war that took place between its young publisher to be, Arthur Sulzberger Jr., and his father, Arthur "Punch" Sulzberger. The father had rushed up to Boston after his son, then a student, had gotten arrested in an antiwar demonstration. The authors recount how the two had dinner at Locke-Ober and then, "slightly tipsy," took a stroll around Boston Common. There, say Ms. Tifft and Mr. Jones, Punch asked his son this question: "If a young American soldier comes upon a North Vietnamese soldier, which do you want to see get shot?" "I would want to see the American get shot," the young publisher-to-be replied defiantly, according to Ms. Tifft and Mr. Jones. "It's the other guy's country; we shouldn't be there," the younger Mr. Sulzberger had said by way of explanation.

Some may already this but Arthur Sulzberger Jr is the publisher of the New York Times today.

The above came from the following link:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Arthur_Ochs_Sulzberger_Jr.

My vote: Ochs is a traitor
Arthur Sulzberger Jr's ,middle name is Ochs. No, kiddin'. I didn't make that up. Check the link.
If you don't like being called a traitor, then don't give people reason to do it.

I am worn out by the constant left wing media gettting louder and louder. I see it everywhere. I live in Connecticut and there is so much money pouring into this Lamont nut case. It is all Soros and the far left that is suppporting this nut. Once the left feels strong they just go for it. Yes I know that the Grammy Award was given to Bill and Hill. That's what I am saying- the lefties are united. The far left has really gone nuts in CT to make so much noise that it is crazy.
To hear the MSM you would think that there are no Republicans in the state- it is not true. We have a Republican Governor. Rant off.

Click here for the C-Span coverage (in Real Player). Scan to 1:45:40 for Hillary's remarks and to 1:50:45 for Rumsfeld's response. (If you make the window wider than the default, precise scrolling is easier.)
