"C'mon Jews," the ad exhorted, "show them who really runs Hollywood." Hint: It's not Mel Gibson.
In Tuesday's full-page ad in Daily Variety, placed by Comedy Central, the answer is clear from the cartoon showing "South Park" characters next to the Scientology headquarters.
ADVERTISEMENT Though the ad appears to be a humorous and timely takeoff on Gibson's widely reported tirade against Jews during last week's arrest in a drunk driving case, the timing is "pure coincidence," Comedy Central spokesman Tony Fox said Tuesday.
In fact, the ad congratulates "South Park" on its Emmy nomination for the episode "Trapped in the Closet" and refers to another controversy altogether the still unresolved question of whether Tom Cruise influenced Comedy Central to pull a scheduled rerun of the Scientology-satirizing episode in March.

Let us never forget who called Paul Fray a f--king Jew bastard. That tirade was swept under the rug by the MSM.
Instincts and timing rivaling that of a fine bird dog :~)

So, I guess South Park pretty well nailed Gibson in the Passion of the Jew. I thought they were over the top at the time, now it seems pretty accurate.
They may not have been guessing blind... They've probably been to some of the same parties.
Of course... they could always just have another episode this fall where Stan's dad gets a DUI (we know he is an alcoholic from the Bleeding Statue of Mary episode) and he goes on a tirade blaming all the world's problems on Nike, i.e., the Shoooooooooooes!!!!!!!!!
Oh, that ad is great - Matt and Trey know no fear!
They're great! :)
Thanks for the ping.
Tonight on junk TV it appears to be a Mel Marathon.
They are re-running the Bleeding Statue of Mary ep with Stan's dad getting a DUI tonight!
Holy moley! Thanks. It looks like Viacom / Comedy Central has grown a pair.
That, my FRiend, is brilliant. You should bring that to the attention of Trey and Matt. (Imagine Officer Barbrady's reaction to Mr. Marsh's "Are you a SHOOOOOOE!")

Talk about sweeping stuff under the rug, what about the MSM not bothering to mention the fact that the Hezbollah leader keeps talking about having to kill all the Jews, but they call the stuff that Mel said "anti-semitism!"
I wonder which is worse to the media... Mel Gibson saying bad things about Jews, or the leader of a group that's dedicated to killing Jews, and doing their darndest to accomplish just that... Well, since the media see the terrorists as their friends, it would be Mel.
Mark
ROTFLMAO!!!!
I think the attitude of MSM and liberals towards Jews is "we don't mind if you blow them up and kill them, but anti-semitic slurs is just going too far."
