well, i consider the al Qaeda members that Iran has in "custody" aka safehouses, to be something they consider bartering chips to use with the U.S. in an extreme situation...I just didn't think that this is how bin Laden jr. or al Adel would leave Iran.
Would be interesting if Israel captures him
The secular left is partnered with the militant muslims. No reason that different Islamic militant factions can't join forces. They ALL (including the Western Left) have the same goal.
And yes, I did see your (sarc).
This is the head of Alqaida who was appointed leader when OBL died.
Great!
Interesting. As we can see time in and time again different sects/subsects/splinter political Islamic groups can cooperate in specific defined actions when it suits the needs of each member. But clearly. The goals are often very limited in nature. That is MHO.
Yes, here we have the Shiite regime in Iran openly using a leading Sunni terrorist to go to a Sunni regime and organize terrorist war across Shiite areas of South Lebanon.
Guess the MSM and liberal talking heads just forgot to tell Tehran that Shiites and Sunnis are not allowed to work together.
What really matters in this tale is that it clearly indicates that Tehran DOES feel free to utilize Al Qaeda terrorism for its own ends. An alliance of depravity -- the question is how much more of this has been going on that doesn't get reported or even noticed in the west, etc.
The Southern Lebanon Offensive and the New Buffer Zone
By Bill Roggio
****************8an excerpt *********************
As the Israelis look to prepare southern Lebanon for an international security force, Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad again openly voices his desire for the destruction of Israel, and indicates a cease fire is the first step. "Although the main solution is for the elimination of the Zionist regime, at this stage an immediate cease-fire must be implemented," said Ahmadinejad, "Peace and security in Lebanon and its borders has to be preserved by the Lebanese government and people. Deployment of foreign forces is not acceptable in any shape unless it is just, based on UN rules and preserves the unity and territorial integrity of Lebanon."
Ahmadinejad's statement comes on the heals of the news that Said bin Laden, Osama bin Laden's son and appointed successor, has been released from Iranian custody and is headed to Lebanon. "From the Lebanese border, he has the task of building Islamist terror cells and preparing them to fight together with Hizbollah," the German newspaper Die Welt reports (see Jeffrey Imm's post for additional details.) If true, Said would have access to the thousands of Sunni Islamists currently bottled up in Syria who have not been able to enter Iraq, Iran and Syria have every intention of escalating the war in Lebanon, and the notion that Sunni and Shiite terrorist groups cann not and do not cooperate can be put to rest once and for all.
come one ernest. we are all safe because we "know" that ideological lines will never be crossed by our enemies in a goal to destory the US or Israel. You should just swallow that medicine unquestioned.
Thanks for Bill Roggio's feedback. Haven't been visting his site in past few weeks. Shall do now.
