What if he was referring to Karl Marx?Huh? I don't understand what that means. I have never seen any evidence that Gibson is an American patriot or a conservative. I can't understand all the fawning over him that goes on around here.
He made all those movies with Danny Glover who is a raving leftwinger. For all we know, Gibson's views are the same.

While not "declarative", I can make with most probability that Mel Gibson's comments were coming from his subconscious and he meant what he said. There is no reason not to believe what he said repeatedly(and apparently documented) was false.
Do you think he doesn't believe his own words? All his apologies won't erase his beliefs.
As for his father being an anti-semite, I didn't even know that before this incident. If that is the case, then it is even MORE likely that he himself is one. Like father like son, eh
Seriously, why would you think he didn't mean what he said(repeatedly)? Because he is a good actor? Please, that only makes him even more phony.
