A man walked into a Jewish organization Friday afternoon and opened fire, killing one person and injuring at least five others before he was arrested, officials said.
The gunman, who employees said claimed to be a Muslim angry at Israel, forced his way through the security door at the Jewish Federation after an employee had punched in her security code, said Marla Meislin-Dietrich, a co-worker who was not at the building at the time.
Staff members said they overheard him saying "'I am a Muslim American, angry at Israel,' before opening fire on everyone," Meislin-Dietrich said. "He was randomly shooting at everyone."
Police would not confirm the account.
David Gomez, an FBI assistant special agent in charge of counterterrorism, said investigators believe the gunman targeted the Jewish Federation of Greater Seattle.
"We believe at this point it's a lone individual acting out antagonism toward this particular organization," Gomez said.

IMHO, this is an example of an Islamic extremist, self-guided, asymetric weapon. They want to try and push more of this and get it going world-wide, particularly here in the US.
They have no idea or comprehension what they will get in return if they are siuccessful.
This is no different than the others Jihadists over in the Mid East, except this guy did not do the suicide, martyr thing.

I agree. People who carry around the hyphen as some kind of badge of honor should be forced to choose which side of the hyphen they prefer. If it's not America, give them a one-way ticket to that "hyphen" place they prefer.

Just what are your grievances against the Jewish State of Israel? Well, as it turns out, at this time - none. I have no grievances with Israel. But there might come a time in the future when I'll disagree with something they're doing ... and that needs to be OK. I disagree with things my own government does sometimes and I feel more loyalty toward the USA than toward any other country.
Like Coulter, I see no need for permanent "victim" groups. The Israelis are doing just fine - they don't need the false protection offered by Political Correctness.
