Ann Coulter: Republicans will lose "a lot of seats" this election

Ann Coulter just on Cavuto being interviewed.

She wanted to "remind the viewers" that the normal election cycle is for the party in the White House to lose seats. She expects this election to be one where Republicans lose seats. She added "a lot of seats" before Neil moved on to another question.

It isn't bashing to point out that Ann Colter got most everything in those three chapters incorrect. If I was bashing her I would be bashing her on other topics, but I am not. I disagree with her on those issues and I tend to let people know when I disagree - it's just the way I am.

I am sure Ann Colter is a nice person, but she appears to not know very much about science.

Been reading freerepublic for years - just didn't have the time to make an account till now. It takes time and effort to start a small business and having a FR posting account would have taken up too much of my time as it can be rather addicting.

I missed the interview. She may be right in this case, but Coulter doesn't have credibility in my mind, though I know many of you love her.

Rally me on immigration, rally me on cutting spending, rally me on decreasing federal influence, rally me on the core ideals of the Republican party... Heck, at this point, I'd rally for just ending retirement benefits for congresscritters - they want a retirement plan, they can get a real job, instead of thinking they'll live on my dime for the rest of their lives.

Some how I think that there won't be all that big of a rally going on. Rats will keep their seat in the Senate from California, the rest of the seats from here should remain the same.

Please tell us why we should elect a guy to the highest office in the land who lost a run for the House in 2000, the Senate in 2002, and the "recorder of deeds" in Chicago in 2004?

the one data point ne is using there - that there is some massive groundswell of support for stem cell research, and the veto is going to swing alot of votes to the Dems - I simply do not buy that. very few americans care, or even know, anything about stem cell research policy.

gas prices and iraq will be the dominant issues in this election.

You're familiar with the frog-in-the-kettle-of-water metaphor, right? If so, consider this. With Democrats in power, the heat is on HIGH. With Republicans, the heat is on MEDIUM. Either way, the frog gets cooked, right? Or, maybe not.

Maybe with the heat on HIGH, the frog will notice in time to finally jump out of the kettle. Bring on the revolution before it's too late.

Whomever is in power, they will have been put there by the sovereign Creator. Of that I am totally convinced, which is why I don't fret about it. Not even one little bit.

She said the same thing this morning on the KSFO Morning Show with Lee Rodgers and Melanie Morgan. She followed up the comment by saying that she's lousy with predictions and that the question is better answered by someone like Michael Barone, who studies all the districts, the past histories of the candidates, etc.

Please show where I based Ann Colter - I haven't. I said some one her ideas in regards to science are incorrect and wrong but I have said nothing negative about her other ideas, most of which I agree with.

Yeah, it's a stretch to think that discontent over Iraq or what the MSM is trying to feed us will translate into us wanting higher taxes and liberal judges.

If you're a scientist, then prove that Coulter got the "Darwinism" portion of her book wrong with proof positive from the fossil record.
