Rarely does a news story bring tears to the eyes. But when I read the account last week of the murder of Samaira Nazir in an “honour killing” (surely an oxymoron), I nearly wept. Here was a bright, articulate graduate who had her throat cut, was stabbed 18 times by her brother and cousin because she wanted to marry a Muslim man whom her family had not chosen.
The details were particularly horrific. Her mother stood and watched as she was murdered — how could any mother do that? Her two nieces, aged just 2 and 4, were forced to witness their father stabbing her, close enough to be spattered by her blood — how could any parent do that? She screamed for help and neighbours saw her blood-soaked arm emerge briefly from the front door, but their attempts to intervene were rebuffed.

People like that used to be called savages. Now they're considered are moral equals if not superiors. Will western civilization wake up?

I think there is a wide disparity between a moral society that respects life and a society which runs on a fanatic religion that does not respect life.
Muslims believe in something that is the polar opposite of Christianity.
For Example:
Muslim works to get to heaven vs Christian grace to get to heaven
Muslim conversion by man vs Christian conversion by spirit
Muslim "moon god" vs Christian "Son god"
Muslim "Allah's will" vs Christian "free choice"
Mohammed on the other hand - himself was a cruel man who committed numerous atrocities and created a religion based not on love, but cruelty to non-believers. And, that god will attract all that worship at the altar of depravity, cruelty, torture, and death to others.
Leaving aside the religious differences, Islam kills every society it comes in contact with. It instills fatalism, a virtual caste system because of its hereditary religious structure, and induces total paralysis because of its hatred of music, art and creativity.
The Western-Christian world view deals with the issues of guilt and salvation, a concept that is completely unimportant in the East and Mulsims
Instead, great importance is given to 'honor'. I consider that to be problematic. It is underestimated how many Islamists consciously or unconsciously attempt to restore lost honor.
It is critical to remember that in Islam you can’t simply ask Allah for forgiveness, he requires action not remorse. Mohammed was a prophet not a savior so you can’t ask him for forgiveness or salvation either.
However the Koran does offer a path to salvation and redemption through jihad and restoring "lost honor."

I don't think it's civilization, per se. I think it's the MSM and our leaders. I think the average person knows what the score is.

The death cult has shown its ugly face yet again. Unless Europe stops its honeymoon with unrestricted immigration of muslims, they are bound to get into a civil war pretty soon.
Are you well versed in islam?
I was talking with a leftist friend over the weekend. We agreed that islam had been hijacked, and that the current muslim leadership was evil. We also agreed we're at war, whether we like it or not.
Where we diverged was on the nature of islam. He studied philosophy in college, and they taught him that islam is a gentle, peace loving religion. He even believes that in some respects islam is more peaceful that Christianity.
I have read about islam on the internet, but cannot bring myself to read the koran. I maintained that mad mo was cruel, and that the religion was violent to the core. I have read of mohammed marrying the 12 year old. My friend disputes the violence, and the marriage. He wasn't taught those things happened. And what violence he does acknowledge, he says it was because mohammed had to fight for his life.
He then said I was educated by the internet, and my sources were suspect. I said he was educated by leftists and communists and his sources were equally suspect.
All this to get to a simple question. Do you know of good, reliable, high integrity sources for contrasts and comparisions of Christianity and islam? (Yeah, I want to rub his face in it).
They don't. Just like liberals, they simply say they have it despite overwhelming evidence to the contrary.

Well, let me see. Why do we say of the dead: "May he rest in peace." Mohammed, Allah et al wish that sort of "peace" upon us all, even their children, as we've lately been reminded by Sheik Nasrallah.
This is why the evil cult if Islam must be wiped from the face of the Earth. I trust no Muslim. When I see one, I assume that they are up to no good. I will not associate with them, be friends with them, talk or work with them if I can help it. Our country should use the full military might of the US to wipe this scourage from the face of the Earth.
