He was on a rant about Israel using too much force and destroying the infrastructure of Lebanon. Blamed the Israeli's for esclating this conflict too quickly and not allowing a dialog.....yadda yadda yadda. He thinks Israel's actions will drive the Lebanese people to support Hezbolla.

Restraint is the name of a new bomb, a little smaller than the MOAB.

LOL May they use much of these Restraints then very soon.

A surprisingly strong message from France, they must have had some left over from the World Cup.

Chirac can't stand him from what I've heard. They've been butting heads for years especially Sarkozy seems to have 'pro American' ideas. Seems like a pretty decent guy from what I know about him.

That freakin' Major Bob has been a flipper since all this ME crap started.
One day he's pro action, the next day it's restraint.
He's nothing more than a jabbering mouth

I'm just amazed France remembered that little bit of her history...
If anyone wishes to show some solidarity with Israel, here is a printable flag that can be displayed in windows, cubicals, rear car windows:

Oh God, the world is coming to an end. If France has adopted a rational policy, I better get my affairs in order.

There is an aggressive element in the Middle East, he said, and that is Hizbullah. As friends of Israel we must advise it to maintain level-headedness and restraint. Would that be the type of restaint France used in the last two world wars? Eh, I don't think so.

Thanks.
Major Bob suggested a dialog, eh? With Hezbollah, I presume?
Lebanon has failed to abide by the several treaties they've signed (since 1983) by refusing to disarm Hezbollah and failing to prevent terrorist attacks on Israel. .....So now Israel is taking care of the (unstarted) business.
He thinks Israel's actions will drive the Lebanese people to support Hezbolla.
The Major doesn't quite comphrend that when this all over the Hezzies will be all but extinct. .....there will be little or nothing left for the Lebanese to support.

Emboldened by a head-butt, France today told Germany where to stick their army. This was immediately followed by calls for peace and discussion over French WHINE and stinky cheese.....
