This is excellent news. Basayev was a cold blooded demon. May his soul rot in hell for eternity. I would also suggest reading "The Wolves of Islam" that goes into great detail about the Chechen/muslim bastards who have inflicted so much bloodshed and suffering.
I will celebrate at lunch with a shot of vodka today!

Can we have a Terrorist Competition between the U.S. and Russia? A Terrorist Whacking World Cup? I bet this is one event we'd let Israel compete in. I wouldn't even mind losing the final.

Uh.. Haven't they killed this guy around 20 or 30 times already. Didn't he do the Moscow theater takeover as well? I thought they killed him then, and several times before.

They've been after this guy for years. ABC got tossed out on their ear from Russia after interviewing this terrorist leader. At least the Russians recognizes ALL of the enemies in their midst.

This is nothing but a Red-on-Red incident, Stalinists vs terrorists to me, but at least Shamil Basayev was some one even US could not tolerate, and I am glad he is dead.

Great news. Another muslim monster dead. May the innocent souls of Beslan take comfort.
To: Wiz
Stalinists? Come on. That's a stretch. The % of Russians who sign on to that policy is rather small. Even in the government. And shrinking I might add.
Unfortunately, the Chechen Islamists will likely retaliate in some fashion.
To: Smogger
The terrorist at the Moscow theather was not Basayev, but Bayev.
