Two hundred and thirty years ago our Founding Fathers illuminated the world with the signing of the Declaration of Independence. For the first time in modern history common people would be free from the tyranny of rule by noble birth. These great men came from various backgrounds but the vast majority were united as Brothers in the Light of God. Their God was not an abstract concept or a creation of myth; He was the God of Abraham. The original intent of our Founding Fathers was that the Light of God shall not be excluded from public life but that His place in government should be memorialized as the very foundation of our great nation.

Our Founding Fathers used the natural law of God to justify breaking from the tyranny of the English Crown: “When in the Course of human events, it becomes necessary for one people to dissolve the political bands which have connected them with another, and to assume among the Powers of the earth, the separate and equal station to which the Laws of Nature and of Nature's God entitle them, a decent respect to the opinions of mankind requires that they should declare the causes which impel them to the separation.”

Our Founding Fathers also declared: “We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty, and the pursuit of Happiness.”

Today our rights are once again threatened by the unpatriotic and godless who reside within our own nation. They have taken away our children’s right to pray in school. They have aborted 40 million of our children and have removed the Ten Commandments from our public buildings. They are fighting to remove the word God from our Pledge of Allegiance and have asked that His name be removed from our currency. I ask you, is this the United States that our Founding Fathers’ envisioned?

The time in our history has come for all People of Faith, of God and Country, to stand together, united against those that wish to destroy our nation, faith and our destiny from within. I ask you to join me on this July 4th in a united prayer to God, for the future of these United States of America.

And to think we fought a war to escape domination by the British empire all those years ago and now many in this nation are ready to turn the U.S. over to rule but a far more corrupt empire called the UN. Go figure.

Where are the great orators of our time?    Have we forgotten how to express eternal truths and earnest convictions in ways that stir men's souls?  Have we become so crass and ignorant that mere words no longer hold meaning or ability to convey powerful concepts?   

Our nation is now engaged in two mighty struggles.  The first is obvious, our just and principled stand against terrorism and Islamic conquest and their goal of our enslavement and/or annihilation.   The second is obscured by political correctness and is by far the more dangerous.  It is a struggle for the very soul of our nation, the essence of who we are as a nation.   It is a struggle of truth vs. lies, good vs. evil, life vs. death, democratic republic vs. oligarchy. 

Those who wish to destroy our country and rule over us twist the meaning of words and use them in lies and deceit to obfuscate and ensnare the ignorant and obtuse to their cause.  They redefine the meaning of words (and our Constitution) to suit their objectives and demand acceptance of multiple foreign languages to confuse and shroud their evil intent.  They demand the destruction of our culture though importation and acceptance of foreign cultures.  They promote chaos through which they hope to increase their power and continue their deception.  There is no need to explicitly identify them, for they are easy to spot.  They whine that their intentions are good, no matter how bad the outcome of their actions; they advocate any position that their current audience seems to favor, no matter how many times that contradicts their previous position; they accept no responsibility for their own actions and always blame others; they are socialists, communists, liberals, and the left who disguise themselves as patriotic Democrats in order to garner support from the intellectually lazy and/or one-issue special interest groups.

We have slept too long and abdicated vigilance to the 'go along to get along' easy way.  Where are the wordsmiths among us that can awaken our brethren to the dangers confronting us?   Shall we abandon God, our principals, and the Liberties which our forefathers so gallantly fought and secured for us, or will we stand and deliver for our own posterity.  To quote Shakespeare, "To be, or not to be.  That is the question."
