Possible Security Breach Probed At Dulles
Passengers at Dulles International Airport started moving through the screening area at the main terminal Tuesday morning after authorities investigated a possible security breach.
Airport operations officials said the Transportation Security Administration was investigating a possible breach, but would not provide details as to the exact nature of the breach.
Passengers were stopped at the screening area at about 9:15 a.m. They began moving through the screening area again by 10:45 a.m.
In total, 16 flights were held on the ground prior to departure due to the security breach investigation. Inbound flights arrived as usual.
What, they've started checking senators for viagra now?
I sincerely hope that today's a big travel day for Congressmen and Senators. The more discomfort they suffer, the better.

Jokes on me. Having eye surgery in a couple of weeks for real.
Security Breach. Some screener mistakenly stopped an Arab terroist. That's against the rules. At least until Mineta finally leaves.
Best wishes for successful operation!
For real ;-)
"Some screener mistakenly stopped an Arab terroist. That's against the rules."
Isn't that the truth?
I'm a retired flight attendant, and just traveled this past weekend. I watched who went through the special security, and who didn't. I just shook my head. The Caucasion elderly woman and man were typical among those chosen. (I was in Tampa) But yet, a Middle Eastern looking man and his son didn't go through the special screening. They did confiscate a baseball bat from them.
Anyhow, it took about 1/2 hour for me to get through security.
Actually, Dulles is outside of Washington DC.
