I think the most attractive thing about older men is the self-confidence they exude, and not being obsessed with attracting every bimbo in the room.

Heh......thanks.

That shows up the guy for what he is---a first class phony.

Two weeks after proposing marriage to Dina, he was locking eyes with Cipel, and set him up in an apartment for late night assignations.

McGay then got Dena wed and preg for campaign photo ops.

THE HAPPY COUPLE: Jim McGreevey (left) and his partner, Mark O’Donnell, have been busy house-hunting.

Irish eyes are smiling in Plainfield

The New York Post reports that Jim McGreevey (aka, the man who is never mentioned when Gov. Corzine whines about the $5 billion state deficit) is househunting in Plainfield. The former governor and his special friend, Mark O'Donnell, are said to be looking in the $1-2.5 million range and "have asked real-estate agents and homeowners to sign confidentiality agreements." Perhaps the governor should have required the same discretion from his homeland security directors.

O'Donnell is the CFO of First Spring Corp., the investment company set up to manage the money of the profligate Bronfman heirs. He is active in AIDS issues, serving on the board of the Treatment Action Group. He is also a reliable Democratic donor. Which explains spending $2.5 million on a house in Plainfield.

Bronfman heirs....aka family that made money via Seagrams.

O'Donnell is the CFO of First Spring Corp., the investment company set up to manage the money of the profligate Bronfman heirs.

Edgar Jr, scion of the Canadian Bronfmans, the current holder of the company reins, started off as a movie producer and a songwriter. When that didn't work out he joined the family business and "worked his way to the top."

His biggest credit so far is leading the company into a disastrous takeover of Vivendi.

Former New Jersey Gov. James McGreevey and his partner are about to become homeowners.

Are we seeing the beginnings of the leftists' next Camelot fantasy -a homosexual version?

Thanks Liz. Also....BIG contributors to Dems/Clintoons...Bill was at one time IIRC linked to one of the heiresses of the Bronfman/Seagram clan.

"His biggest credit so far is leading the company into a disastrous takeover of Vivendi."

Also known as a "write-off" to those that travel in those circles...losing companies...big money, etc...no big deal...after all they didn't earn it themselves.

There's a new book out about the Bronfman family---interesting that Edgar Jr was married for 10 years to a gorgeous Black woman with whom he had three children.
He is now remarried. There is no mention of the first Mrs B in the book.

I live a couple miles away from Plainfield. I have never heard of it referred to as a "gay friendly town". Crime ridden, dirty, corrupt, dangerous, crumbling, yes...Gay friendly...no. Sleepy Hollow and the old Drake House are probably the only things worth saving in Plainfield. If the rest of it went down a sinkhole, I don't think anybody else would care.

Plainfield is crummy as a whole, but it's surrounded by upscale towns (like Watchung). From what I hear, there is a growing gay community in certain parts that is restoring many of the old Victorian homes so it's a good investment area, I guess.

Anyway, Jim McGreevey is not gay, he's a bisexual cheater. I know a woman he hit on a couple years before his big announcement. It annoys me that he used the gay card to get sympathy and overshadow what was really going on. He was resigning because all his buddies were being arrested for various types of corruption, and he knew it was only a matter of time before it happened to him.

And a little known fact for New Jerseyians... NJ/NY's first somewhat open FOD governor was actually a 17th century cross-dressing aristocrat named Edward Hyde.

the more you know
