As a nation, we cannot support murder out of hand. We are not currently engaged in unrestricted warfare. Shooting bullets into a defenseless, unarmed civilian is murder. I am not saying that is what happened here, but until we know what DID happen, we cannot unconditionally support that behavior.

You seem to be kind of all over the map on this issue. I agree that we cannot support murder out of hand. However, as you go on to state, we don't know what DID happen. What we know is that these brave men put on the uniform of their country and went off to war. During that war, someone made an accusation against them and charges were filed. Instead of them being given the traditional American guarantee of innocent until proven guilty, too many people want to assume they are guilty. I'm not saying that's what you are doing, I'm just making a point.

The bulk of the charges of murder that have been made against our troops have been proven false. In addition, most of us have not walked a mile in their moccasins. Until solid proof is brought forth that these men are guilty of committing murder, I believe that it is another case of PC run amok.
