It has come to my attention from an email that the DUmmies are trying to get rid of the Prptest Warrior's Wikipedia entry, and apparently they have already axed Conservative Underground - Protest Warrior needs some help.

At the time of posting this thread, the vote is open for about another ten hours.

My most enjoyable time was an article about J. William Fulbright. Someone put in a commentary that J. William Fulbright would have been opposed to the Iraq War. I thought this was pretty non-neutral since J. William Fulbright was DEAD at the time the Iraq War started and thus was incapable of forming an opinion about it except through a psychic. But apparently a psychic was available and my deletion was reverted and I got no support.

A while later, it actually got removed by someone without generating further controversy, but the fact that such a blatantly ridiculous section garnered such support was very telling to me.

Isn't that the truth. I pointed out to a co-volunteer that if there are a dozen conservative volunteers working on a project without strong leadership, they will be doing it 13 different ways.

And there may not be a hole to fill - I saw a thread here, where Wikipedia was being used as a kind of search engine - people would simply click on the external links of an Wiki article, which makes one realize that there isn't any real need for an online encyclopedia - one can simply find relevant info by searching and cross-reference.

I just skimmed the discussion. IMHO it will survive the vote with a "no consensus" at worst, so we need not worry about it. (The discussion ought to be closed right now as a bad faith nomination, but that's not going to happen.)
