I will not be surprised by another attack. I wish it weren't so, but our enemy is not wishy washy like we are. This nation has lost the will to wage war, but the enemy never will.
Unfortunately, it will take another attack to remind folks of what we are up against..
Partly, it's because nobody (or almost nobody) believes we're actually AT war. Life since 9/11/01 has seemed so normal, for most of us. I sometimes wonder if the Bush admin (and/or other powers that be) made a mistake in return the nation to normalcy so quickly. In WWII, we always KNEW we were at war, and likewise, in most ways, with the "cold war." People might get the stomach for war if they believed it was urgent that they do so. At least some would--not counting 'Rats, of course.
Can't disagree but the Islamofascists, just like the earlier German type, launched the war too early. The more attacks here & there, the more people may really wise up. Here's hoping, anyway.
The only thing that we can do for the present is wait for the attacks that we know will come. I agree that they will not be a monsterous attack like 911, but will be car bombs at shopping malls and sports events, ied's along side the roads...wherever people congregate....maybe in Christian Churches, perhaps??
If I was a lunatic muslm terrorist, I would start tomorrow.....666. I am not going out anywhere tomorrow. I am not superstious, but just in case there are crazy terrorists out there wanting to kill someone, I think I'll stay out of his way.
They are also legion. They're like weeds. They keep popping up unpredictably always spawned by a sick and evil ideology.
Actually, I'm surprised we haven't been hit again multiple times. I'm really surprised we haven't seen suicide bombers here, since they seem to be so prevalent in the Mooslimb world.....

Al Qaeda terrorist expertise is about to increase exponentially now that Israel has disengaged from Gaza and will shortly do so from the WB. The Palis have been fighting the best counter-terror people on the earth--the Israelis. They are only too glad to hand the benefits of their experience to Al Qaeda, the Chechens, Hizbollah, and anyone else with anti-Western agenda. I am afraid this push to give them a state is one of the most ill-conceived moves in modern history. It is almost as though many of our elites are getting advice from our enemies on how best to mix the kool-aid vat that will be our death.

I'm just about ready to roll up my sidewalk and let the world pass us by as much as possible. We, as a country have been sold down the river in the name of one world order, and it looks like there is nothing we can do to stop it.
The republican party has left conservatives in the dust.
Oh well, it was a great country while it lasted. I wish my grandchildren could have lived in the America I grew up in.
