NO, RUSH, WE DIDN'T HEAR IT FROM YOU FIRST.
We read it HERE first.
YES: we are establishing a permanent under-class...
YES: we are establishing a permanent ruling class...
Rember the name of your senator and representative... you will be reading that name for a long time; then their children will step up and rule us.
The only thing that will change the names over time is when they screw up and get caught draining off our wealth for themselves - perhaps like the present case of William Jefferson (D., La) ... although it should be noted that, despite two people being sentenced for giving him a bribe, he has not yet been charged with anything.

Right. Consider FR as extended staff of Rush, assisting in his show-prep. His show is "show-prep" for the rest of media that wants to know the truth. It is not good form to point out where Rush obviously lifts posts and info. It is a tacit symbiotic relationship. FR does the work and Rush delivers it to millions.

Because Rush claimed the idea originated with him... Like shalom aleichem says above: FR is often the origin of great ideas.

Ronald Reagan used to say you can accomplish a lot if you don't care who gets the credit. Rush is a great distributor of ideas/opinion found on Free Republic, just like Disney is a great distributor of Pixar's movies.
Rush also doesn't parrot FR--he was on the opposite side of most people here on FR regarding the Dubai Ports situation.
Rush does a great job communicating conservatism to people who aren't as deep into political thought as the regular posters on FR. I enjoy his show.

I, for one, would be delighted if Rush picked up on one my posts and referred to at as his own idea. I would be very proud and I certainly wouldn't get all weird about
who gets the credit for it.
I kinda' outgrew that in my earlier years. He is not our competition. We're donating these ideas, not copyrighting or selling them.

Conservatives have enough things to be concerned about and to keep them awake at night without getting into a pissing match with Rush as to "who" said "what", "when" and "where".

That is totally untrue! In fact, only about a year ago Rush reversed his position on immigration; he originally endorsed the idea that these people are performing jobs that Americans will not do.
He is now coming to realize my position: that immigration is a means of changing our society: change it to the advantage of a permanent moneyed class.

I'm trying to figure out why this seems to bother you so much. If I were in your shoes I'd be elated that Rush transmitted my idea to millions and if called it his own, I would be doubly delighted
. I outgrew the 'look what I did...give me full credit and a pat on the back syndrome' about 40 years ago but you just can't seem to let it go.
