Senate at odds with itself, nothing new

On Thursday, the US Senate approved Social Security payments for illegal aliens, even if their employment status was due to stolen and/or forged documents. But yet the same Senate does this: "A proposal by Sens. Jon Kyl, R-Ariz., and John Cornyn, R-Texas, to deny citizenship to immigrants convicted of a felony or three misdemeanors passed 99-0 after changes were made to ease Democrats' concerns." They want it both ways. I bet very few of the users of fake social security numbers filed income tax returns.

Does this mean they can collect SS, but can't stay because they committed a felony using ID fraud?

I thought the Republicans were in control of the Senate... maybe RINO's...

Something is very wrong with the system when such morons keep getting voted in. Just promise stuff to people and the majority vote for you. Ugh!...

So if the "undocumented" illegal uses a false social security number what's to stop them also using a fake name.

I guess can then file as many social security claim as they feel like.

Insane.

"I bet very few of the users of fake social security numbers filed income tax returns."

I read a story a long while back about how illegals were sharing PO Boxes because they all filed to get the earned income tax credit refunds. I believe the location was Brownsville, TX. They'd have to file something.
