NP, you can I can agree on this--but you know full well that most of the population hasn't got an ounce of common sense among the lot of them. Sure as they let this fine young man graduate in his dress blues, some anti-war puke will want to prance across the stage in his pink lace anti-war costume, with "Bush lied, thousands died" in great big letters across the front and back of his costume. And if they don't let him, the school district will get sued. Bear in mind, this is a small town, and they don't have money to fight the ACLU lawsuit machine.

Dear Miz:

This is in answer to #26 and #28...THERE IS A WAR ON. WHAT PART OF "THERE IS A WAR ON" DON'T YOU UNDERSTAND?

I don't care one bit about "feelings", in this time of grave danger to our American troops, I think that most Americans would like to see the military dress uniform honoured and respected.

Also, I am sick unto death of "understanding" that some people might disagree. In this age of "ME AND ONLY ME" disagreement is the rule. The exception is a fine young man like Michael Lueking. I don't care one bit about the ramifications. As one of our first heroes once said, "Damn the Torpedoes Full Speed Ahead" If you wonder where such brave men are these days, why not look on the sidelines of an OK HS graduation, and you will find Michael Lueking. Shame on this country that we allowed this to happen to this fine young man.

All the board as to do is to make exception to the rule for military uniforms. This is not a free speech issue but a matter of appropriate attire.
