I think that would make a fine shirt. Maybe use an ostrich in the pictures?

He is 100% correct when he says there has to be a reason. I do not agree with his hypothesis though.

For an "original thought", his explanation is something of a no brainer. Having an uneducated electorate is certainly a part of how the govt gets away with pulling the wool over our eyes. But there is a much more effective MO they use. They simply ignore us. They suffer no political ramifications from what they do and so they just keep on doing it. It is our (the citizenry)unwillingness to hold them accountable that is the top reason they get away with all the crap they pull.

That being said, we have little power against the money that is spent on presidential campaigns. We have little choice. It's the guy the RAT machine puts up, or the guy the FGOP puts up. a DINO or a RINO.

I love studying people. Bush isn't afraid to admit that he's for open borders and amnesty for illegal aliens, why should they (and I've only found a few) not want to admit it, because I want to know WHY and I'm dying to ask one of them? Or, wait,...... are they only for open borders and amnesty for illegal aliens because HE is and therefore wouldn't be able to answer the question WHY?

The reason? $$$$

We have been sold out by both sides.

Like I've said, time for a 3PC with some integrity and an awareness of the problem(s).

Been there and done that.......they don't listen.

It's going to take much more than emailing, writing and phoning for D.C. leadership to get the wakup call they need about now.

"An interesting take on why our elected officals won't represent the electorate on the Mexican invasion"

The answer is right here!

I think the founders had something like this in mind when they discussed...." all enemies, foreign and DOMESTIC".

Be sure and include your voter registration number. A registered, and active, voter gets a little bit more attention.

There could be yet another reason, although the one suggested above is probably true. There has grown up an entire industry around the whole immigration process, from attorneys eager to generate business turnover, to fingerprinting services, to bail bondsmen, to all the other ancillary "services" and forms of profiteering from the invasion of illegal aliens. And that just covers the legal activities related to illegal aliens. Immigration, the official government domestic policy, is a jobs program for millions that survive like parasites off the ignorance and gullibility of illegal aliens. Like the tax industry, any effort at real reform usually hits a wall.

My take on Bush's role in all of this is:

1. His long and apparently positive experience with the large hispanic population in Texas is largely responsible for his inaction on this alien invasion. And why wouldn't HIS experience with them be positive as he traveled in the highest, best-educated circles among them, not the M13 bangers and pine-straw spreaders...

2. His brother Jeb is married to a Central American (Bolivian, I THINK!) and his neices and nephews are mixed blood. And before you scream "ethnocentric bigot" at me, there's nothing inherently wrong with that. But that fact -- and the first item -- DOES predispose him to a warm and fuzzy feeling for folks from south of the Rio Grande.

And if -- in some strange and matasticizing American desire for a new royal family dynasty -- Jeb should win the White House, I'd bet that HIS activities toward this alien invasion will make W's behavior look like a warm-up exercise.

Any vestige of white European culture will be a distant memory.

What you question Mexico's right to Lebensraum?

Our political classes sure don't.

Bingo! If they seal the border there would be no more War On Drug money and billions would be lost from the drug trade in both countries.

Which goes hand in hand with legalizing drugs in Mexico. If this wall is to be built, keeping mexican police off users's a$$ puts the distribution points safely right at the border.

I'm sad to have to believe our BP is in on the drug take.

Too bad coca won't grow in the Alaskan tundra.

There's always the chance something terrible is about to happen and our politicians know it and we'll need the mexicans to eat after it happens :)

" I guess anyone concerned about the flood of illegals over the border and the fact that politicians on both sides refuse to do anything about it are now considered trolls. LOL"

I just received the following post on another thread " shut up, you troll....I'll be watching you"

I got that threat for having used the word "Jorge" in an amusing post : )
