I don't have access to the full article, but there is a concerted effort by the NY Dems to literally try to personally destroy every opposition candidate. The conspiracy is finally coming out in my own local paper, which surprised me as the paper slid to the left just before the last general election. I've been to Kos and Democrats.com enough to read posters who are willing to throw up lies in order to win. Sweeney is also a huge target.

There are the children he fathered with a subordinate while he was still married to someone else. Add to that some charges of nepotism. And for good measure, throw in a top aide who pleaded guilty to sodomizing a 15-year-old boy.Hillary is lucky he's not running as a Dem.

I see that. Thanks to Howlin for sending me the full article. I guess I was pretty bleary-eyed at 4 in the morning. Now I just want to throw up.

I have contacted several of the candidates. None seems to be interested that Hillary committed the biggest campaign finance fraud ever.

So we have a GOP nomination fight between a lady RINO and a candidate who's good on the issues but does not live what he professes to believe. Free Republic should offer its heartfelt condolences to Freepers living in New York.
That being said, the chances of unseating the Hildabeast were never all that good to begin with.
You win some, you lose some. That's politics.

Hilly is Senator of NY for as long as she wants to be. Rudy had the best shot at beating her if he ran in 2000. Pataki was still popular and may have done it, but he decided to go to the well as Governor one last time instead (terrible move, he overstayed his welcome).
As long as Hilly satisfies NYers, that's ok with me.

Ah, according to the article, it isn't the NY Dems doing this, it's another Republican.
Rather than getting your panties in a wad, why not read the article?

This guy seems like the perfect candidate to run against Hillary. Can you imagine the press questions to her...what do you think about the fact this fellow had relations with a subordinate???? Hmmmmm..... enquiring reporters want to know.

All of this information about John Spencer has been previously reported by Westchester County's Gannette Snoozepaper, the Journal News. Spencer has pretty much admitted his past indiscretions. I'd be shocked if he went in with all this baggage and doesn't have a plan to react to it if raised by Hillary!.
That being said, as usual, we have no viable Republican candidate to run against Hillary!. KT is a RINO and Spencer has a checkered past (that he was mayor of Yonkers should have been a clue) and virtually no name recognition. Hillary! is going to be reelected. But while I think Spencer might be willing to fight her in the trenches, while KT wouldn't.
To: neverdem
Its subject is John Spencer, the former mayor of Yonkers, who is seeking the Republican nomination to challenge Senator Hillary Rodham Clinton. Or is it Bill Clinton????
