Tell Congress "NO" on amnesty!
4/28/06 | Drew McKissick

Dear conservative friend,

We have an illegal immigration crisis in our country. A crisis that is the direct result of decades of neglect by our politicians.

Congress is currently considering several plans to address the problem, but unfortunately many of these proposals would result in granting amnesty to millions of illegal aliens already in our country! This only demeans the value of US citizenship and punishes those who obeyed our laws and migrated to this country legally. Further, it would lead to an increasing tide of illegal aliens in the future.

As Congress debates this important issue, it is critical that conservatives speak up and let the politicians know that they favor strict enforcement of our immigration laws, better protection for our borders - and to oppose efforts to give amnesty to those who have broken our laws.

You can help by clicking the link below and signing the "Enforce our Immigration Laws" petition, and then send a personalized blast fax to your Senators and Congressman on the page following your signature.

Ronald Reagan once said that "When they feel the heat, they see the light". Help make the politicians "see the light" by flooding Congress with faxes from conservatives all across America.

We don't have much time. The Senate has set a deadline of Memorial Day to take action on this issue. Let them hear from you before they vote!

Sign the "Enforce our Immigration Laws" petition today! http://www.petitionusa.com/petition_immigration

Your help can truly make a difference on this issue

Does anyone else see the boycott as an act of aggression by a foreign enemy?

I have no problem offering amnesty to every illegal immigrant currently in the country - as long as Congress also immediately starts construction of a border fence.

Amnesty is okay for some in exchange for demanding that congress declare english the official language. Cease bi-lingual education and bi-ligual government docs signage etc etc. If folks are going to get to be citizens they should speak English. that's my only requirement. Oops, almost forget the part about slapping a 20% withholding tax on all money being sent out of the country that can only be avoided by presenting documentation that confirms you are accounted for by the internal revenue service. They already do this to citizens so it shouldn't be a big deal. They can get their money back when they file their tax return.

If we don't get these two items out of the deal then NO DEAL. Fair? And don't come back NO AMNESTY because that's simply not going to happen. Might as well negotiate and compromise.

The author is forgetting that the Congress, and the White House, do not care about what the REAL CITIZENS of this country care about or want....so what is the point??

and require employers of illegals to pay a luxury tax for the luxury of enriching themselves with cheap illegal labor. They pay the tax voluntarily like illegal drug dealers :). If they are caught out of compliance, mega-fines/confiscation like that which is done to drug dealers. Forget the stupid fence. Yuo have to make the laws upstream. A fence is bad juju. You can get at the problem other ways.

The entire immigration "problem" is solvable in the market place.

But it seems we're just too greedy or too addicted to do what needs to be done.

Whether or not it's an act of aggression, we must take precipitate action to seize several adjacent Mexican states for purposes of repatriating all these illegal aliens.

There's no doubt the federales will be sent out to shoot them down by the millions at the border should we send them all back.

Then, we can extend NATO protection to the country of "Nuevo Mexico". On their own they should be able to acrete several more states and begin to practice some of the things they saw in the US ~ maybe even make the place healthy for investment.

In that way we can roll back the centuries of corruption that have led us all to the current state of affairs.

We can rant all we want too. We will not win this argument. The socialist democrats want the illegals votes, so they are going to do nothing about it. Bush supports illegal immigration into the Republic. So, who do we turn too to fix it. Certainly not the punks on the Potomac.

Maybe we have to use Joe Stalin's method. During WWII if you won a battle you got promoted. If you didn't win a battle you got fired (upon).

Eventually, all of Stalin's generals did nothing but win battles.

Now I'm not suggesting we shoot Congress-critters, but they can be removed from office.

Call the White House "opinion line". People who are opposed
to the current state of illegal immigration are trying to get like-minded
people mobilized to call this number and let the White House know that they
will be voting the people responsible out of office. Apparently the White
House actually pays attention to this phone line, and figures that the
people who will actually go through the effort to write down the number and
call will also go through the effort of getting out and voting. The number
is 202-456-1111.
