Take up the Red Flag on May First
May First is the revolutionary holiday of the international proletariat--the worldwide class with nothing to lose but its chains, and the class that can lead all humanity to a world without slavery in any form. On May First, the proletariat affirms its internationalist outlook: The proletarians have no country, and a mission to bring about a world where no more borders define relations of exploitation and oppression.
This year, May First also will be marked by immigrants' rights demonstrations in many cities in the US. The fact that these protests are happening on May First presents an exciting opportunity and challenge for readers and distributors of Revolution. We call on our readers to go all out for May First, and relate to these immigrants' rights protests and other events in several ways:
1. Raise the Red Flag!
The red flag of the international proletariat must be boldly and dramatically present at the May First demonstrations. This flag calls on our people to be emancipators of humanity -- representatives of the historic mission of our class worldwide. (See the article Story of the Red Flag on the history and significance of the red flag). Bring all the red flags you can make to these protests, get them out to people, along with this issue of Revolution, with its back page poster, We Are Human Beings. We Demand a Better World. We Will Not Accept Slavery in Any Form.
2. Connect people with Bob Avakian
In order for people to understand that there is a way out of this madness, what that is, and how they can act now to change things, they need to connect with Bob Avakian. Revolution newspaper, including this May First issue features contributions by Bob Avakian, including the excerpt from his Memoir, From Ike to Mao and Beyond..., and Resistance, Revolution, and What Should--and Should Not--Be Supported in the centerspread of this issue.
Especially on May First, we need to get out hundreds, and thousands of a couple of highly accessible audio tracks by Bob Avakian. One is the audio file, Why Do People Come Here From All Over the World, from the DVD Revolution: Why It's Necessary, Why It's Possible and What It's All About--in both English and Spanish. Another is the Ghetto Remix--a musical track that includes bites of a speech by Bob Avakian. (The audio from the Revolution DVD can be downloaded at www.revcom.us, or www.bobavakian.net and burned onto CDs. The Revolution... DVD can be ordered from threeQvideo.com. And the track Ghetto Remix featuring Akon, Miles Solay, Koba and Bob Avakian can be downloaded at http://www.nosheetsleft.com/ghettoremix/).
And, get out and listen to downloaded CDs or MP3s of Bob Avakian reading from his memoir, From Ike to Mao and Beyond--My Journey From Mainstream America to Revolutionary Communist (download the audio files from www.revcom.us, or www.bobavakian.net).
3. In a number of cities, celebrations of May First will be held at Revolution Books stores or outlets, or at other venues. Check the Contact Us box on page 2 and get in touch with the address or phone number nearest you. Or, organize your own May First celebrations. Play the Why Do People Come Here From All Over the World track, and the Imagine... track, and the final track, A Challenge and a Call: Get With the Party from the Revolution DVD. Organize people to buy, watch, and discuss the whole Revolution... DVD, and to subscribe to and distribute Revolution newspaper. These get-togethers should have a real flavor of proletarian internationalism--celebrating a common international struggle, led by the proletariat, to transform the whole world from the world full of horrors imposed by the workings of the current imperialist system.
4. Involve the Youth
Reach out to, challenge, and involve youth in all this. Where youth are refusing to be chained into their high schools, and accept what the system offers them, the red flag should be a big presence.
5. Correspond with Revolution about your experiences on May First through www.revcom.us, or by writing to us at:

They're not even trying to hide it anymore, are they?
Brought to you by a number of tax exempt foundations--including the Ford Foundation and the Stewart Mott Foundation--which Congress is too lame to oversee.
Hnest to God if I see a communist walking through the streets of my town I may consider his the end of America. I am glad I live in the South where this sort of nonsense is rare. We need to get the blue states to secceed. Then don't fight a war to keep them and let all the mexicans live there with the stinking liberals. Also deport the liberals we already have.
Madness? I guess they mean private property, the free market, profit motive, and private ownership of the means of production.
Uh... don't Communists (and a lot of others) always march on May Day? It's Labor Day just about everywhere (except the U.S., even though it commemorates an event in Chicago). It's just that this particular group (of no importance to anyone, anyway) found a bigger group to latch on to. Nothing to get worked up about.
Commies hawking disks and newspaper subscriptions. Whatta country.
I keep a stout peice of hickory in the trunk of my car, just in case the opportunity to bludgeon such miscreants presents itself.
When your enemies are intent on destroying themselves don't stand in their way. A really big turnout on May 1 would be a gift to us.
Posted by JeffHead Jeff links to Mexica.org's 'after protest' pic fest. You can see there what the marchers thought they were marching for.
A poster for Fridays march. March 31. This poster lists the Latino orgs that are promoting the protests. They are all communist/socialist front orgs.
Here is my analysis of what is going on behind the scenes.
Here is some evidence that 'amnesty' increases illegal entries. These people knew before the demonstrations that the time was ripe.
Smith Act of 1940 This is the U.S. statute that ought to apply to the organized gathering of tens of thousands of foreign nationals calling for the overthrow of our country.
I need to make a correction to my previous postings. H.R. 4437 does not simplify the process of documenting employees. The article at that last link says this:
No Elimination and Reduction of Employment Eligibility Documents. One of the few positive aspects of a mandatory employment eligibility system would be the simplification of the hiring process by reducing the number of documents employers would have to verify to one or two. The bill does not do so. Several other reform proposals (such as the Dreier bill, H.R. 98) provide for such simplification by requiring the use of a tamperproof Social Security card and no others. The bill only studies the use of such documents but does not eliminate the use of any documents and the confusion such documents cause employers.
My apologies to all for proliferating confusion on that. This means that H.R. 4437, the best of all bills so far put forward by our esteemed Congress, isn't too good after all.
Understand that the provision that the protesters say is 'racist,' that makes illegals felons, was inserted by the Dems a short time ago. That clarifies why Hillary happened to discover the immigration issue a week before the marches. Why she demonized Republicans as "making Jesus a criminal."
Keep in mind just who organized these protests. Who provided the tens of thousands of T-shirts, the thousands of professionally made signs, the hours and hours of promotion on Spanish language radio and TV stations. It has been noticed that Islamic orgs names and logos appear on some of these signs as well. Remember that NEA teachers and administrators are the ones who have assisted the march organizers by providing bussing for their students, hoisting Mexican flags at school and overlooking the truancy.
Don't forget that the last two Presidential elections were nearly 50/50. Think about how our Congress is looking for a way to appease these foreign nationals through legislation. No election necessary. The outcome of legalizing 11 million illegals and encouraging more to come will be a solid lock for the left forevermore in national elections. We dont need an immigration bill. We need and want a border security and illegal aliens bill. An immigration/guest worker bill can come after that is done.
Mexico is Rich- Mexican wealthy play American taxpayers for suckers
Good thread for any that missed it. It should really make you mad.
Every dollar spent in U.S. taxes for social services for illegal aliens frees up additional cash to be sent south as part of the annual remittances which provided $20 billion in 2005. According to the CNN news show Lou Dobbs Tonight (3/21/05), "Remittances, as they're called, are expected to become Mexico's primary source of income this year, surpassing the amount of money that Mexico makes on oil exports for the first time ever."

Mayans in Chiapas Region Convert to Islam
The bill that was just defeated in the Senate was an amnesty, plain and simple. But take a look at what these treasonous scumbags tried to hide in it. They will be back and we can expect more of this if we do not act decisively.
Hidden Bombs (Extremely Important Article on Immigration)
The second nasty surprise? Just before the committee approved the bill on the evening of March 27, Sen. Richard Durbin (D-Ill.) offered the "DREAM Act" as an amendment. It passed on a voice vote. The DREAM Act is a nightmare. It repeals a 1996 law that prohibits state universities from offering in-state tuition rates to illegal aliens. The principle, of course, is that no illegal alien should be entitled to receive a taxpayer-subsidized benefit that out-of-state U.S. citizens can't get. But the committee's bill allows illegals to be treated better than those U.S. citizens on tuition.

Yes indeed. PLEASE wave the red flag on May 1st!!!
Better yet, Put the likeness of Che Guevera on it!
Be sure and fly flags of Mexico and any other third world country. Burn american flags and other symbols of the evil capitalistic cultures that are shackling and exploiting the 'Workers of the World'.
That's the ONLY way that Americans will learn the truth of who their cultural betters are and what is their eventual destiny.
Yes indeed, proudly wave the flag of Communism.
