Actually, the Republican party died with the retirement of Ronald Reagan.
His rant continued on to spew that there needs to be a new leadership of Israel that has the stones to gir 'er done.

I was listening to savage tonite, turned the tv on o'relly just started. he was doing his talking points. I guess about Snow, anyway the lep says some radio talk show host are so far to the right and irrational that no one wants to debate them.
so is the leprechan putting on his boxing gloves?

Savage has some good thoughts. The problem with him is that he's in a perpetual state of PMS. I'm sure that many Americans are just as PO'd if not more PO'd than he is. But he loses people, IMO, when he rants like a drunken scorned woman.
But I'll tell ya what really pushed me away from him; it was his interview with Shumer on the ports deal I believe. Man oh man, you'd have thought that Shumer and he were on their honeymoon. He hates Shumer big time, but in that interview I'm sure he needed a pretty big napkin and some extremely potent mouthwash afterwards along with some killer antiseptic.
I realize that they were on the same side there, but dang, it was almost as if he were enamored by Shumer.
The thing that makes me angry with Savage is the man is brilliant and he squanders it by starting a good subject and then wondering off into talking about his dog or something similar. Definitely Bi-Polar (if you ask me) but the man knows world history and what he knows and understands isn't being taught these days and everyone needs to hear it less wee really are doomed to repeat it -- though I suspect it is too late...
Yeah, I totally agree. He is very bright. But then he goes into a bender and plays that heavy metal crap for a few minutes. You may have hit it w/ the bi-polar.
Anyway, he definitely squanders his intelligence by playing to the lowest common denominator that is capable of understanding the basis for his reasonings.
I just read an article on here about a cartoon depicting Jesus with an erection. the "artist"(spit, cough) said many students want a minor in sexuality studies. Something about women and gender studies is the the closest to queer theory.....WHAT FUGGING RUBBISH!

Nice to see that there are a few other Freepers who recognize Savage for the nutjob he is. He's no conservative, just another for-profit demagogue. His rabid jealousy of other conservatives -- Limbaugh, Snow, Hannity, etc. -- is simply pathetic.
If you're one, you're not the other.
Since Savage IS the former, he cannot be the latter.
sure I realize "savage" may be an act. but I like what he his to say. I want to hear his anger, I love it when he calls his callers , idiots. I am sick and tired of the media fawning over whatever such and such celebrity did. or 24/7 coverage of latest missing adult white girl or fake rape case. I am sick of so many conservative talkshow host carring the water for the administrator, without any constructive critizim. Has Rush ever asked Why Bush doesnt sale him self better or fight back? Not that I know of. I am kinda suprised Rush hasnt said it would be a good idea to have Bush's guest worker program. At least Hannity will break with the script on Illegal Immigration, until theres another missing white woman.

Or perhaps just a conservative who knows more than she wants to about what is now referred to as the Republican Party. Abe Lincoln is, no doubt, rolling over in his grave.
No limp wristed wimps are needed, but those who see clearly and act accordingly, regardless of "political correctness".
