Or perhaps just a conservative who knows more than she wants to about what is now referred to as the Republican Party. Abe Lincoln is, no doubt, rolling over in his grave.
No limp wristed wimps are needed, but those who see clearly and act accordingly, regardless of "political correctness".

The history of the Republican party is not one of conservatism. There have always been conservatives in the party, but our national leaders and Presidents have not been, by and large, conservative.

If you put George W. Bush's policies against other Republican Presidents, he will be at the conservative end of the spectrum.

It's a common misconception on this forum that being a Republican is being a Conservative and that all NON-conservative Republicans are RINO's.

It just doesn't line up with the history of the party.
