That, and put heat on the oil companies about no tolerance for collusion (already let too many merge), but also clear the way for them to drill in ANWR and elsewhere, put heat on the environmentalists who are partly to blame for tight supply, ease regulations on the industry, suspend a lot of the mandated blends, and push like hell for building of new refineries. He can only really directly affect suspending the mandated blends, but he could be the bully pulpit for the rest and lead on this if he chose.

This so-called President doesn't know the difference between the first and third world, or so it seems. This ignorance alone has caused me to abandon the Republicans. I may have to vote for the party again, but they'll never get a cent from me again until they regain their sanity.

My paper the AJC rag has a headline,'Pres, Bush bluntly tell Repubs that Illegals can't be deported en masse-must have guest worker plan. I am against such a plan...I don't want millions of temp workers with no allegiance to this country. Also, who pays the medical for these people...we do. I swas tons of illegals at the ER when I took my daughter for her broken foot.
