Build a fence on the southern border and the numbers will go up big time.

You know, there ARE other problems in this country.

I hope you all are happy after you all sit home and elect Democrats.

Not me. I will be out there voting GOP. I'm not exactly happy with the way they've conducted themselves, but sitting out an election is a mistake. Letting Dems regain control of anything is a much worse fate.

Yes, there are other problems, the big one we face here in california is having a snowball's chance in hell of getting many Republicans much less conservatives elected, so woefully inept the choices being offered have become.

Attitudes like yours about fellow conservatives will help elect democraps.

Instead of slamming people because of their frustration and anger, try pulling them back into the fold. I know it's hard to do, especially when you're frustrated yourself, but this BS about electing Republicans because they aren't driving off the cliff as fast as the demoncraps are is getting old fast.

"You know, there ARE other problems in this country.

I hope you all are happy after you all sit home and elect Democrats."

My thoughts exactly, simply put and well-stated.

I rarely post, but over the last few months I've seen FReepers, who I thought knew better, following agenda-driven polls, repeat twisted soundbites of the MSM, and letting one issue drive them........literally ONE issue....to the point of obsession!

I'm not talking about those who simply disagree. They state their opinions well and I can read their comments without feeling my blood pressure rise. They usually say they disagree with this or that issue, but they make it plain they're not willing to let the democrats win in November, regardless, because they realize what that means.

But some are obnoxious about it to say the least. To those who are..... Okay. We hear you....we've got it. You're staying home, or voting third party, or whatever, on election day because Pres. Bush won't do your will on the illegals issue.

So stay home.....but please do us all a favor and quit hijacking every thread on FR. Your copy-pasted comments all sound alike, and you're not about to change the minds of anyone, other than those who are easily led, or those who think like you to begin with. If you all want to send a message by staying home, just do it. But your ability to do that with a clear conscience, considering the other issues this nation faces, says a lot.

Am I in total agreement with Pres. Bush on everything? Definitely not. Do I still support him and his main goals for the US? Completely!

I'm well-aware of the illegal alien problems we have, and I'm concerned about the terrorism issues, and the crime issues, that go along with it. I'm not about to bury my head in the sand regarding any of this. I also don't expect utopia.

President Bush doesn't represent only my views, or yours. I won't let one issue, or four issues, or 29 issues for that matter, that I disagree with the president on, keep me home on election day, make me cast my vote for a third party to "send a message", or cause me to attack him as I've seen some do on this forum lately with comments such as, "I've come to loathe this president."

And just because folks don't jump on your bandwagon/vendetta, doesn't make them non-conservative. I'm pretty tired of seeing the illegal issue, and a few others, used as the standard to measure whether or not someone is a "real" conservative. /rant

Do you let strangers come into your home univited and let them make themselves to home, then critisize members of your own family when they complain about the situation?

"after you all sit home"

I don't believe anyone will sit home. I believe they (@30%) will be out voting third party. At least, that's what the FR poll showed,I think.
