Dozens of illegal immigrants arrested, released in hours
There was a crackdown Wednesday and dozens of illegal immigrants were arrested. Many of those same immigrants were released just hours later
It was the last thing they, and their families, expected.
"They are not criminals. All they're here for is to work for their family," said Mariz Gomez.

Its immoral to protect our country. The Open Borders Lobby folks ought to cool their faux outrage, since illegal aliens arrested are still not summarily deported. Its just for show the ICE is doing this to take the heat off the Administration for the absence of an enforcement policy. They don't really mean to get serious there though.

Another rally protesting the raids of the illegals? I thought these illegals were here to work, not protest???
To: george wythe
This will be sweet. Illegals gathering outside the ICE office. Let's see if the ICE has grown any stones.

Yep. Its just PR. And they think the American people are too stupid not to notice what they're doing. It means we need to turn up the heat on Washington.

It's been a good PR move for the Bush administration. Most of my acquaintances are happy something was being done about the illegal immigration issue.

Exactly, the all want a free ride back to Mexico for Cinco de Mayo celebrations...they'll be back across the border before you can say "gringo"...

Folks, this is not about the illegals.
ICE could care less about them, unless they will provide evidence against the IFCO and its executives.
This is about going after a corporation that systematically helps illegals enter the US and systematically commits Social Security fraud and other federal crimes.
If we can get employers from hiring illegals, then illegals won't come here.

Perhaps they can have a fake protest against these fake raids.

Numerous raids have left Chicago families without their loved ones, and this morning the government is talking about its new policy.

"They are asking immigration officials to halt action until Congress comes up with its new laws because it might allow some immigrants to remain in the U.S."
They want ICE to halt action, while they pour across the border, in record numbers and at break neck speed in anticipation of Amnesty.
Good grief, how stupid do they think we are?

But illegal immigrant advocates are calling this action and crackdown immoral and they are OUTRAGED. I'm twice as OUTRAGED as they are, and I want them out of here.

Don't enforce the laws until we can get the laws deleted. Nice.
