I seem to remeber some bio (either on E! or A&E) where they said Henry Fonda was asked about his daughter during her treason. Apparently, he responded "I don't have a daughter."

I'm happy to hear that, I really respected Henry Fonda, not just for his acting but for his service in WWII. He was a pretty private person off the screen. I believe I only saw him interviewed a couple times and that was many years ago.
