TEHRAN, Iran - The president of Iran again lashed out at Israel on Friday and said it was "heading toward annihilation," just days after Tehran raised fears about its nuclear activities by saying it successfully enriched uranium for the first time.

Not that small.

For example, the streetcars continued to operate in Hiroshima all day even after the bomb. Unless Iran has 3-4 20 megaton bombs, they can't destroy Israel. One atom bomb will not destroy either Jerusalem or Tel Aviv.

He doesn't care

True .. but I'm thinking that not only should the Palestinians be worried about this Lunatic ... but so should Egypt and Jordan who are close neighbors and could find themselves under a nuke cloud if one is lunched on Israel

My question: why doesn't Israel pre-emptively strike Iran??

Probably will retroactively strike the capitols of of it known enemies. It is building a submarine fleet capable of launching nuclear tipped missiles.

Here is somthing I have thought about.. what if the guy is saber rattling to try and tip oil cost out of control and ruin us through economic means..

this rhetoric definitely sounds like they are developing the bomb for the sole purpose of wiping isreal off the face of the earth.. and im sure any other country who opposes them is next.

this guy really is hilter in another coming.

the question is whether the international community intends to do a darned thing about it. Thanks to our wanker media, our military has a huge collar around it and we cant do a darned thing.

Fallout is vastly overrated. Israel's neighbors should worry about a ten mile targeting error. Iran could conceivably drop one on Damascus or Amman by accident.

<< It's a good thing there's no real reason to take this guy at his word. Fortunately, this is just talk. >>

Rubbish.

The kind of suicidal rubbish spouted by other gutless clowns and other gutless idiots throughout the nineteen thirties.

About Adolf Hitler.

Whatever Ahmadinejad says is the policy of the "government" of the mad mullahs that is but fronted by their shill, the career terrorist, Ahmadinejad.

Ahmadinejad said at the opening of a conference in support of the Palestinians. "The Zionist regime is a rotten, dried tree that will be eliminated by one storm."

This could only mean a massive attack with perhaps multiple
devices....at least as far as I'm concerned.

If he really wants to nuke Israel and commit suicide for his country as we retaliate he is foolish to be so noisy about it.

I don't get his motive.

The irony here that most are missing is that "time" is on our side on this issue (currently). In the short run. This nut-cake somewhat surprisingly understand this -

But we'll just keep letting him take that rope -

Remember we will fight this GWOT at the times and places of our choosing....not our enemies.

US experts feel that Iran would require at least 1000 sorties against their 12 main targets, plus supporting sites. Air defense is very tough, is expected to bring down at least some aircraft and Israel does not have any stealth to knock it out in advance.

However, the Israelis may have something creative in mind, perhaps something fun with infiltration, inside groups, coverts and commandos. We'll see.

<< A nuke detonated in that area will destroy all of the land, not just inside the borders of Israel. What part of that dont people understand? >>

You also aught understand something. The only folks in the Middle East more universally loathed, despised, hated and feared than is the United States of America and is our nation's surrogate/ally, the Nation of Israel - in that order, by the way - are those Egyptians, Jordanians, Lebanese and Syrians who have, fairly recently, taken to calling themselves "Palestinians."

If the Persians' mad mullahs wiped them from the planet it would be to the resounding cheers of every other Arab on Earth.

I'm willing to bet that OUR multiple devices are more effective than theirs.

And how many nuclear devices does Israel have? 100? 200?

Iran is chafing sparks into a sack of gunpowder, daring it to explode.

Ahmadinejad is already dead. But the symptoms haven't taken hold as yet.

I am starting to fear that Iran is developing a nuclear weapon specifically for use against Israel. Contextually, that's how I would interpret these comments.

Israel has been very quiet but if Iran does strike, they will get one chance before they become vapor. Israel won't miss and NEITHER WILL WE!

Just out of curiosity, how many of you would willingly give up his/her life to kill this guy? If you knew that you would die, but also knew that he would die, too, would it be worth it to you? As a Christian, I know that murder is wrong, but this doesn't qualify as murder, in my opinion. Not all killing is murder, after all. It would be justice and the prevention of evil on a scale unseen in human history. He's going to do it if he gets the chance and SOMEONE somewhere has to step up and stop it.
